“Jonathan catered our party with zero fuss and a ready smile. It was a pleasure to have him here taking the stress off us for a lunch party. The food was delicious and much commented on - we had a very good day thanks to him! He did everything exactly as we had asked including a vegetarian alternative. Thank you!”

“I give food a 4.5/5 currently just because I’m not always the biggest fan of Italian cuisine but also I have not tried a full range of their food yet. My dad absolutely loved the picante pizza and I have to agree, it tasted fresh and it’s got that subtle taste of the pepper paired with the pepperoni and cheese— mwah, it’s amazing. I got the steak frites it was also very nice but next time I go (hopefully) I will definitely make a point to explore the menu more.”

“This is a hidden gem. The staff are just brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. Welcome nibbles of olives and crisp are given on arrival. 3 course set menu with a good choice and the food is beautiful. The decor is lovely and it’s very charming.”

“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “Hired the place out for my 40th party last weekend and had a blast. I paid extra for a late license which takes music up to about 12, but means you don’t have to exit until around 1 - highly recommend for a bit of flexibility. Price is really reasonable for hire, but also the drinks & food are too. The food was fab, I even brought home some for the next day and it was super tasty. Everyone who attended had a fab time and the staff there on the evening couldn’t do enough to make it a special night! I know family who are local will look to use the venue again.”

“The Oasis has a lovely quiet village cafe feel to it, and has an interesting collection of Showmen and fairground memorabilia, which made it an interesting place to enjoy a meal. My wife and I had a couple of the fried breakfasts, that were cooked very well, with great tasting ingredients, and served by very friendly and happy staff. I'll be visiting this one again.”

“Exactly what you want for a cute tearoom in the countryside! Hot and cold food, cakes and cream tea. We got the cream tea (£7.50-8/set) and the scones were perfect - came fluffy and warm. Service was friendly and unpretentious. Cosy and clean. Might have to come back and treat myself to a full English next time round...”

“One of the friendliest pubs around. Ben, the landlord makes you feel very welcome. Food is hearty and tastes like home comforts. Come here if you want the best quality service and company. Highly recommend the fish and chips on a Friday. You will not be disappointed.”

“Victoria was such a helpful host at Hurst Farm. I rented all 4 rooms for my wedding party in preparation for my wedding held nearby and I also got ready there in the morning. Victoria was not only incredibly helpful in answering any queries quickly before the booking, but also great once we were there. The rooms were all lovely and the gardens were beautiful - perfect for a morning photoshoot! She provided us a buffet breakfast on the morning of the wedding when we were all getting ready, and she cooked up a delicious cooked English for everyone on the Sunday morning in her kitchen which was such a nice touch. Would definitely recommend booking Hurst Farm!”

“We came to this restaurant for an afternoon tea for my friend's birthday. We were looked after by Dhimant who was very attentive. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were prepared by chef Amro. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.”

“We’ve had a few pizzas now from several Red Pizza Van and they’re consistently amazing, fresh, tasty flavourful, and clearly made with care. The team is absolutely lovely: always polite, kind, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If I may offer one small piece of feedback, it’s that the dough it's a little too salty. Just a touch less salt would make an already excellent pizza truly perfect. Thank you for the great food and service, we’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“Popped in as went for a walk nearby to break up a long drive. Lovely quaint place. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We ordered the french breakfast and the pancakes. Weren't sure what to expect but everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Homemade jam was a winner!! Chatted to the owner who has recently taken over. “Went here for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was delicious and made extremely fast. Service was also really quick and friendly. Had the plant based bap with an egg added which was also made rapidly and cooked to perfection- the chutney in it was really good! The decor was cool too. They do a nice scheme where you can pay forward a free hot drink to a customer and other customers can help themselves. A nice idea. Overall really well done to this place, they’ve got a good thing going and I’ll certainly be back for more”

It was very nice to know that the gravy for the Sunday lunch was gluten free anyway. We will definitely visit again if we are around the area.”

We spent a considerable amount of money from a new sofa to dining table to new bed and Jason was there every step of the way, helping and guiding. Couldn’t praise this person enough!”
