“Visited the Rose and Crown pub over the weekend while in the area for a wedding. It was the closest place so we took a chance. So glad we did ,the staff were helpful, welcoming and had a great sense of humour ,we were treated like we were old friends .The atmosphere was brilliant the place very comfortable and the food was unbelievable. The attention to detail with each dish was incredible , it was hard to pick a winner so choose what you want it will be delicious. Do yourself a favour when in the area and visit the Rose and Crown you definitely won’t be disappointed. Very highly recommended,thank you to the team for doing such a great job.”

“My grandma and I dined here tonight on holiday and it was absolutely fabulous. This was our first time staying in Sevenoaks, and after checking out the reviews, we decided to come to an early dinner here. Not only was the presentation and atmosphere amazing, but the food matched that same energy. We enjoyed a couple of mocktails, 2 surf and turf's, and the chocolate golden bar as dessert. Marta was our server and she was kind, patient, and provided excellent recommendations. We will be back soon — as we are in London often! Cheers”

“Lovely pub, dog friendly and friendly chatty staff. The beer garden is really green and well maintained, clearly very cared for and felt like we were relaxing out in someone's back garden.”

“This is a rather special old inn. We had a wonderful, though very brief, overnight stay with breakfast in the morning, the day after a long road journey. Wound down with a nightcap in the company of James and Jules at the bar; they were great hosts. The room and, in particular, the bed were just superb. The bathroom: everything clean and just as you'd want it. Mary made us a very good breakfast and was also very friendly. It was clear all the staff we met actually care and want their guests to enjoy their stay and be comfortable. Highly recommended.”

“Never had a bad dining experience at this eatery. I just want to say that the customer service in this outlet is of the highest of standards. The staff were polite attentive and on point with their service. The food was top class as well and worth the price. Very satisfying experience.”

“Stayed here in August for a trip to Hever Castle - stayed 2 nights and we were very happy with this hotel. Lovely comfortable bed, great grounds for people watching :), great location, such friendly and helpful staff, a credit to the company. We just felt totally relaxed and happy, as we really didnt know what to expect but it was perfect - Would definitely stay again - Fiona & Lee x”

“We very rarely write a review or pass comment on any business or activity, but I feel compelled to write about Great British Kitchens & Interiors Ltd. Realising we needed a new or updated kitchen we duly scoured the kitchen workshops and suppliers in our area. Upon arrival at their showrooms at Badgers Mount (Polhill) it was.obvious that GBK was a serious contender for our hard earned cash. Experiencing no pressure to purchase, we were guided through their range of units and it became obvious to us that GBK were the company to use. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. But it’s one thing to see your dream kitchen in a showroom, against perfectly smooth walls and level floors, what would it look like in our 1930’s semi? We need not have worried, the fitting of our kitchen was superb. Attention to detail and constructed as if the fitter was placing the kitchen in his own house. The kitchen we chose was not cheap but in this life you only get what you pay for.. WE HAVE NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER IN RECOMMENDING GBK&I Fred & Sue Griffiths”

“This is a hidden gem. The staff are just brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. Welcome nibbles of olives and crisp are given on arrival. 3 course set menu with a good choice and the food is beautiful. The decor is lovely and it’s very charming.”

“Hired the place out for my 40th party last weekend and had a blast. I paid extra for a late license which takes music up to about 12, but means you don’t have to exit until around 1 - highly recommend for a bit of flexibility. Price is really reasonable for hire, but also the drinks & food are too. The food was fab, I even brought home some for the next day and it was super tasty. Everyone who attended had a fab time and the staff there on the evening couldn’t do enough to make it a special night! I know family who are local will look to use the venue again.”

“Popped in as went for a walk nearby to break up a long drive. Lovely quaint place. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We ordered the french breakfast and the pancakes. Weren't sure what to expect but everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Homemade jam was a winner!! Chatted to the owner who has recently taken over. Lovely lady who is clearly passionate about good food and good service. Pinned in the map to visit if we are ever nearby again! Xx”

“Really enjoyed our visit there. The staffs there were nice and friendly. The food was really good, much better than norm pub food. They also have good awareness of gluten free in their food. It was very nice to know that the gravy for the Sunday lunch was gluten free anyway. We will definitely visit again if we are around the area.”

“Lovely little restaurant within the garden centre. We did book ahead but there was a few tables available. Everything was clean and tidy with great food, the only recommendation is to have a better choice of tea options but that’s just being picky. Great tasting food.”

“Visited on a Saturday evening for a couple of drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, a few locals at the bar, ambient music, which all reminded us of the Bricklayers we know. New manager is doing a great job, and we will definitely be back for a Sunday roast soon.”

“We arrived 1 hour 15 minutes early and were greeted by Tamash. He smiled and quickly put us at ease and took us through to a table for six. There were only three of us so plenty of space and the seats were as comfy as could be. The food was absolutely top draw and we all loved it. Can’t wait to get back for a Sunday lunch very soon. The staff were wonderful and looked happy. Hayley was amazing and really looked after us and Daisy was great too.”
