“This was my very first time trying fish & chips in UK. And let me tell you - I WAS AMAZED. Starting from the wonderful older gentleman working the cash register to the cooks in the kitchen. The tar-tar sauce was also wonderful. After receiving my order I had to wait on my friend and in the meantime one of the workers kept me company, telling about the restaurant history and the neighbourhood. AMAZING!!!!”

The atmosphere is lively and upbeat, with music, lights, and a proper “going out” feel that makes it a good spot for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The staff were friendly and on the ball. We were seated quickly, orders were taken without delay, and everything arrived as expected. They checked in just enough to make sure we had what we needed without hovering. The food was exactly what you want from Fridays – indulgent, tasty, and generous portions. The wings and burgers were especially good, and the cocktails were well made. Overall, it was a relaxed, enjoyable evening with good service and a fun vibe. I’d happily come back.”

“I enjoyed a lovely lunch with a friend today at M Bar & Kitchen. I ordered the Club Sandwich (& chips!) and WOW! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. As it is located within a residential village, not many people realise it is actually open to the general public for brunch, lunch and dinner. (As someone who eats Gluten Free, my needs were catered for really well and I was reassured about the ingredients in the dish and the preparation process.)”

“I had a wonderful brunch experience at The Garden Rooms. Christina, our server, was friendly and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. The smashed avocado on sourdough and huevos rancheros were both incredibly tasty and satisfying. Met with a professional team, that care about their work, clearly trained to a high standard. Food allergies and care were taken very seriously, on top of there being many options should you have allergies. Amazing food to top it off. Highly recommend to you all. “I really enjoyed everything about this place. They have different style rooms depending on where you prefer to eat. I ordered the goats cheese and beetroot as the starter which was fantastic. I got the side of the tomato beef ragu pasta which was amazing but exactly the right size for my small appetite that day - they also brought a whole bowl of Parmesan for me to help myself. For dessert I ordered the brownie and doughballs with Nutella which came with icecream. I personally was not a fan of the brownie or the ice cream I wish there had been the option to just have a bowl of the doughballs as I had seen in other reviews as these were amazing. The tables were quite close together and it was really quite loud. I hope they invest in some sound absorbing panels. I would recommend and will be coming back. I have been again since and the pasta was still fantastic. We also ordered the mushroom risotto however this was lacking a bit of flavour, the walnuts were a nice touch. I do have to say the staff are fantastic about making adaptions to meals to intolerances.”
