“When this shop was under different management it was pretty dreadful but now it is excellent. Food was great - (well to be precise we only had their fish & chips but as that was really good I’m sure the rest is too!). The entire place looks spotless and the owners are particularly friendly and offer excellent service. Definitely happy to recommend.”

“First visit to The Fox and we loved it. We absolutely loved the decor and soft furnishings especially the 2 orange easy chairs. Our waiter even though young was really sweet and friendly. Service a little slow but nice not to feel rushed. Food was superb and loved the scotch egg. Very reasonably priced and tasty bottle of red wine. 2 course and a bottle of wine for 2 was £90 including tip. Will be definitely be back.”

“I hired the Grand Suite at the New Inn for my 60th birthday party with 110 guests. Everything was perfect! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks especially to Aimee who ensured I was able to set up decorations etc. early in the day. The room is beautiful with a lovely big dance floor and nice big tables with plenty of seats. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Great air conditioning in the main room on a very hot night was very welcome! My guests were all extremely impressed with the venue. Thank you all the staff for making everything work out so well - brilliant!”

“It was a nice experience dining with the family. A waitress informed that children are not allowed after 9 pm before serving which was kind of off putting. No offence taken tho im pretty sure she was only doing her job. Speed of food arrival from order to serving to the table can increase. It did take atleast 25 minutes. Will we return? Most likely. “Shanar, Page and Angel were amazing. The vibes were perfect for a Wetherspoons — social, welcoming and outgoing. Even though the security was a bit hostile, the team completely changed the atmosphere. Mr. Hostile is clearly good at his job, just very… well, hostile — hence the name. But the ladies were incredibly accommodating and accepting. The banter was 10/10, and they’ve got a brilliant team overall. Big shout-out to the manager, Shanar — she’s brilliant. Apologies if I’ve spelt the name wrong!”

It does need to be re designed as where the till is, people are walking through the door, trying to order their drinks, pay, then move over to stand in the queue to collect their drinks whilst other people are trying to leave the shop. It can be chaos when the shop is busy, it should really be looked at and re designed. The merchandise can also be hit and miss with not much of an option at times!!”
