“Angel Cafe is one of my favourite places to go. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, and the service is genuinely amazing every time. It’s such a lovely atmosphere really cosy and relaxing. The food is always fresh and delicious, and there’s such a great variety to choose from. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything, and it’s just a really nice place to spend time, whether you’re catching up with friends or just grabbing something on your own. Highly recommend!”

“A small and quaint place for locals and non-locals alike. The coffee shop is hidden and located further back from the road, you wouldn't think it was there! The service was great, when asked about a particular food on the menu we were explained what ingredients were used. The chai latte was not made correctly however but the barista quickly came to us and replaced it with a correctly made one. Overall a warm and nice atmosphere with illustrations on the wall and a lovely aroma of the food! Toilets are available, just have to walk further into the building right at the end on the right.”

“I had my Baby Shower here. There were 11 of us in total and we all had afternoon tea which consisted of four delicious courses and unlimited teas, coffees, hot chocolates and water. The food was so good and the service was outstanding. Sharon was so accommodating and friendly and no request was too big. The staff went to the trouble of decorating the chairs for us too! It was a really lovely afternoon full of laughter, yummy food and excellent service and I cannot fault it at all! Highly recommend to everyone wanting a quaint, friendly and intimate setting that serve delicious food and go above and beyond.”

“After moving to the UK for 2 months I finally found a great coffee. My coffee was made by Ben and it's so great. It's so balanced with the creaminess of the milk, and I can still taste the strong coffee flavor. I usually found coffee in London to be more on the mild side with too much milk flavor. The baristas here are so kind and the ambiance is nice. I will keep coming back. Will try their hand filter next time. Thank you Ben and Lift Coffee!”

The seating is super comfortable with sturdy tables and plenty of plugs, making it perfect for working on a laptop. The ambience is spot on - relaxed, with just the right background music. “I went for set 6, Irish breakfast. Great value at £9.30. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, black pudding, fried potatoes, toast and a cup of tea. They were good quality sausages which really make a difference and had Heinz and HP sauce, along with an array of others. Definitely will recommend and return!”

A very wide selection of breakfasts and other meals are on offer and once we made our choices (a vegi + non-vegi all day breakfast) the food arrived very quickly, tasted great and was very reasonably priced. “Me and my friend found this little cafe on our second day visit to London we were staying at The Barbican Thistle Hotel over the road on Lever St who were charging £12 pp for breakfast .We declined there offer as we wasn't willing to pay over the odds for a cooked breakfast but do understand that London can be very expensive. On entering the cafe , the owner greeted us with a smile , we couldn't believe the price difference just by walking over the road has a cooked breakfast was between £3.50 to £5.95 depending on what size you wanted , so over half the price of the hotel, all the ingredients was of good quality, hot and so extremely excellent value for money. The owner explained to us all about the history of London and Italy where he was from , he was such an interesting character and full of the local history and knowledge. If we ever visit this area of London again we would definitely go back here for a meal , keep up the good work.”

“This cafe is located on King Street in Chiswick, near Stamford Brook, and it's very easy to find-just about a 5 mins walk from the underground station. The cafe has a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the staff are polite and friendly. I ordered a mocha and a flat white muffin (which I specifically came for!!), and the muffin had the perfect level of sweetness, making it an ideal match with the mocha. Additionally, I noticed that they also operate as a coffee school. If anyone is interested in becoming a barista, this could be a great place to start：）”

“Best coffee in London fields. They do a great oat flat white and you get a 50p discount if you bring your own cup. Great for takeaway but they also have a few tables to sit by Mare Street Market for when the sun is out. The coffee is roasted onsite and served from a small takeaway window & they also have a nice selection of croissants and snacks.”

“Myself and my sister visited Matt Cup Roastery on our recent trip to London. We were drawn to the aesthetics immediately. The whole place had a lovely laid back feed. The staff were super friendly and the coffee was delicious - they even roast their own coffee beans. We also loved the coffee cups and saucers and the coffee art was a lovely touch too. There are bookshelves beside comfortable sofas - along with a selection of items to purchase. We could have easily sat there all sampling their coffee and soaking in the surroundings. We can’t wait to come back again the next time we are visiting.”

“One of the best cafes I’ve been to. Highly skilled baristas, top-quality ingredients and super cozy atmosphere. The sandwiches were not my absolute favorite but their strong suit is surely the coffee. The pastries looked stunning too but haven’t tried them personally. Love the fact that they give card with each drink explaining the origin and story of the coffee/ tea you are drinking and super appreciated them not sweetening your drinks leaving you the option to add as much sugar as you please ☕️”

“I spend a lot of time scoping out decent and good value brekkie places in Barnet and this one was a great little find. Food perfect and generously-portioned, a proper coffee (cappuccino), radio/music at a nice low level and the staff left me to my own devices whilst I had a long stay (on my work laptop).”
