“Finally an outstanding chicken kutsu curry in Croydon! The food was absolutely delicious and very large portions. I could smell the freshly cut cucumbers from my chicken bibimbap. The lady at the till was really nice and we will definitely go there again.”

Went there just before closing time, the cook made a small mistake and broke one of the sizes on a 15" he then gave a medium also for free I didn't even ask or would have noticed. “I came looking for a particular sized shirt as I had just got measured by a tailor in a suit shop and upon just the sight of me when I walked into the shop, they were able to tell me the size of shirt I should be wearing without having to measure me. When I tried the shirt they gave me, I promptly bought one in that size rather than the recommended one by the tailor at the other shop.”

“Wow!! My second time here and I absolutely love the food and the lovely staff. I travelled 40 mins and I am not disappointed at all. Food fresh and cooked properly , we even got a free cake. We spent £30 for 2 large meals with rice , plantain and coleslaw , a large side of fried fish , 2 dumplings and drinks. All this for £30 and cooked perfectly in 2025 ?? You won’t find a better place than here. You definitely need to come here!! We couldn’t even wait to get home we ate in the car right in front of the shop lol.”

“I was amazed, to see in this store's window, that they ACTUALLY did PLAIN coloured shirts. Often shirts are just too fancy, because any patterns, etc., clash with other clothing.Also, I struggle to get the right SLEEVE LENGTH, and COLLAR SIZE. But these shirts are as if MADE FOR ME!”

“I flew here from Melbourne where you can't find Foster's on tap anywhere (go figure!). The beer is great, and most are pulled from a traditional pump. The fish and chips is up there with the the best I've had. This place vibes like I would hope every little street pub would vibe. It's a shame I have to fly back home to the other Croydon in Melbourne.”

“Any time you use a new garage you're always a bit wary and this was no different - I have always stuck to what I know. However when the manufacturer issues a recall notice you have to go to an approved dealer. Kinghams were my closest. Staff were friendly on the telephone making the booking, you get confirmation by text (and a reminder) and I found them to be helpful and knowledgeable in person. During the day I received 2 videos of the work being carried out (airbag replacement) and a call to let me know when the work was completed. Overall a positive experience (and a nice shiny car on collection)”

My mouth is watering while typing although I just had a toasted BLT(on the diet - new years resolution. Still asked to throw a runny egg in it.)”
