“Good kenyan coffee beans as my cappuccino did not disappoint! The barista was well versed on task!”
“Always very kind, polite, helpful and welcoming staff”
“Wonderful place! All the food and coffee is great. I have had the scones, tea cakes, and cheese and onion sandwiches. Love the building and it’s near the oldest mulberry tree. When I visit friends in the area, I go every day.”
“Absolutely fantastic. 10 years plus since I’ve had Weißwurst. Just as I remember it. The skin peeled back lovely, beer and mustard worked well together. All you could want from a Bavarian breakfast apart from it was after 12! Rear terrace peaceful and plenty of shade.”
“My boyfriend and I are regular customers and the food there is amazing. Eshan and Nikhil provide amazing service and are always so welcoming and polite. Great music and beautiful interior. 10/10”
“Today I visited the branch in Ashley Centre, the staff was very polite and very friendly. Amazing customer service and food was delicious ( even halal options available)”
“The Afternoon Tea was genuinely faultless from start to finish. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The vegetarian options were superb – particularly the wrap and the tomato/tofu cream. We'll be dreaming of the meringue, eclair and scones for weeks! The staff were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. I'm already looking for another excuse to visit again!”
“I came to Richmond to visit Kew Gardens and booked an afternoon tea for four here. We had the most lovely and delicious experience. Cakes, quiches, scones, clotted cream, big tea selection, the works. The staff were so nice, helpful, and efficient. It was a beautiful Saturday in September and the place was not too busy. The quality and presentation was better than most afternoon tea spots in London (city center) and at least 1/3 the price… I will be back.”
“Managed to get a coffee before the train came. Was very fast and efficient. Didn’t get his name.”
“I enjoy going to amici a lot as the people there are very friendly that make you feel like home. The food is good and priced reasonably.”
“Cozy and comfortable, ladies always provide good fresh coffee or food and great service and a smile, even during rush hour, you don’t wait long to be served. Definitely my favourite coffee shop in Barnet.”
“Fancied a quick Coffee and bite while I was in the area. This cozy little coffee shop did not disappoint. We were able to grab a table immediately after walking in, and staff member was to our table shortly after we were seated to take our order and help make suggestions. Our coffee was to our table in a very timely manner and our food was not too far behind once we had started the first few sips. Very friendly staff, very lovely location. We sat outside and I feel like the service didn’t suffer at all compared to what it might have been if we had sat inside. I would come back and dine here again without hesitation.”
“Really nice restaurant, great service and really good tasty food!!”
“Such a welcoming and cozy place. The barista was friendly and the bagel and coffee were absolutely lovely! Will definitely come again!”
“As Dorothy so eloquently framed it in The Wizard of Oz - 'There's No Place Like Home'. This little coffee shop in the heart of the thriving metropolis that is North Chingford definitely feels like home. Great for order & collect with orders prepared in minutes and so convenient it feels like you are literally popping downstairs for a coffee when you wake up. The team are great. The coffee and the almond croissants are always fresh and tasty as if they were being made in your own home. I love you Caffè Nero in Station Road - I never want to be far away from you.”
“Has been my new local coffee shop while the Beckton Starbucks Café was closed during covid lockdown. Friendly staff, great coffee, I particularly rate the decaf over other brands. Great almond croissants.”
“The plant based savory roll is slammin’. Also had the apricot croissant which was great as well. Service was quick and friendly. Nice and quiet inside with a cool atmosphere.”
“Drinks as expected up to usual standards. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food was available. Plenty of seats were available. Managed to tick off another three drinks from my loyalty card. Will visit more branches. Highly recommended.”
“The front and back of house teams here, are excellent. Service is always good no matter who is at the front or how busy it is. The hot food is always cooked consistently (this may sound like an underwhelming compliment, but it’s not!) and comes out from the kitchen promptly. The quality of suppliers used is also a major plus, especially regarding the meat and cakes. Pastries, croissants etc. are fine, but cakes are the standout. The sausage sandwich and carrot cake never miss, we now come here for weekend breakfast baps, as they are better than what we make at home. Keep up the good work, very happy to have this place in my neighbourhood.”
“I popped in for a quick lunch before a meeting and I'm so glad I did. I was hoping it would be the same great quality food as it always was at Carluccio's and it exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and efficient and the food did not disappoint. I opted for a salad but absolutely love the spinach balls that are in the gardiena dish and the waiter was happy to oblige. The spinach balls were lovely and the salad perfectly balanced, the avocado was perfectly ripe and as you can see, it wasn't simply a pile of leaves! The photo doesn't do it justice because I'd already started to demolish it! No wonder this place is buzzing, I will certainly be back!”
“An oasis of calm (and great food) in the middle of Richmond. Great for the Station, the River and the Park it serves a mixture of wraps, salads, baguettes and baked potatoes. Lovely tea and coffee, nice family feel and great music! And not expensive!”
“Hands down the best spot in Romford, tucked away on the far side of the market, this little gem is a generational family run cafe, I had a sausage egg and bacon sandwich taken away, it was foodgasmic the bacon was thick back bacon with a light smoke, the egg was runny the sausage was good quality and the crusty English bread was fresh and nourishing slavered in butter and brown sauce. I have been here a few times and think it’s great, and the tea is a good blend with a strong colour just the way I like it not milky and served in a proper cup not those fancy coffee dish’s. Keep up the good work guys.”
“A great helping and smiling person Ahnaf makes the coffee place more welcoming and warm. Love the way he talks and helps to get a quick coffee.”
“Both kids went here. Wonderful staff and great management.”
“Visited Dec2024. A cute little cafe at a transit hub, ideally located for quick food on the go. Frequented by locals and workers. All good everyday snacks and breakfasts. Very basic, very quick. Great coffee.”
“100% real Jamaican food, very very good and absolutely delicious”
“I love getting my coffees here in the mornings. Very friendly man who takes my order with an inviting smile, good conversation and efficient service. Brilliant black owned business which I'd encourage everybody to support. They also have tasty Ghanaian patties!”
“Traditional family run business are hard to find these days . The set breakfast was delicious together with a hot cup of tea , the perfect accompaniment to a very cold morning in central London. Great service too , I will return.”
