“Found this cafe in The Lanes when looking for a nice breakfast before the drive home after staying at the Leonardo hotel. Cracking little place, great coffee and pastries. Excellent, friendly service.”
“Coffee At 33 – Small shop, big heart (and seriously good coffee!) The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly — you feel welcome the second you walk in. . I ordered an espresso, a cortado, and a hand drip, and every single cup was perfect. Balanced, smooth, and full of flavor — no bitterness at all, just pure coffee joy. Their pastries and baked goods look so tempting too… I wanted to try them all! If you’re in Brighton, you’ve got to check this place out. Just a heads up: it can be a little slow because they’ve got so many loyal regulars — but trust me, it’s 100% worth the wait.”
“I often plan to stop here as the staff are always great and the food is amazing. I have a Cumberland sausage with onion and mushroom in a soft bap. I'm going to ride for over an hour now and go there just for that! You won't be disappointed - its an easy recommendation Only negative is I prefer HP sauce to Daddies! Still won't stop me going there though”
“Dog friendly cafe with good food, great coffee and lovely staff. Our dog gets a sausage or chicken free of charge on every visit. We'll definitely be back!”
“I'm a planner. Wherever I go, I usually have a spreadsheet of carefully researched places to eat and drink on trips, so we're not left disappointed. So it was an unexpected delight to stumble upon this cafe, entirely by chance. We were so impressed with our first visit, we visited again, the next day on our short two day trip. Firstly, the menu is huge. We literally wanted to try everything. Every dish has something unique about it that has clearly been thought through. The food was stunning. Perfect. We had lunch one day (mushrooms on toast), and breakfast the next (pancakes and full English) and both were as good as each other. I don't say this lightly, when I say, they make the best hash browns I've ever had. I've tried making hash browns through my love for them and I've left feeling jealous at how they got these so perfect. Delicious drinks - coffees, juices and smoothies all made fresh. Unlike most cafes - they didn't do my pet hate and fill the glass with ice, which waters down the juice - winner! The service was attentive, friendly and speedy (on both visits). We are going to be telling everyone about this absolute gem and will visit as soon as we're back in Brighton.”
“We came here for brunch as we had our dog with us and we needed somewhere that was dog-friendly. The ladies working there are super friendly and our order was taken quickly. The food came quickly and was well-cooked it didn't have excess grease and the portion size was great.”
“i came to Brighton to spend a couple of days there and went to this place as it was on our way from the train station and what a nice place! staff is nice and the food is amazing, reasonably priced. we even came back for a second time through our stay!! deffo will be back here if I ever come to Brighton again:)”
“Grabbed a cuppa tea it was £1.50! Perfect for a walk on the sea front to keep me warm. Coffee tasted nice, cappuccino was £3. The lady was really friendly. the cafe is a takeaway with 2 seats out the front. Also selling snacks, cold drinks, slushies and ice cream..”
“Overlooking the sea. Very welcoming including to our dog. They were helpful and friendly. Really tasty food. Would definitely return. Music making you feel you were on holiday but not so loud you couldn’t talk!”
“Good place to stop for lunch and or coffee, plenty of seating inside and outside, good choice on the menu, I had a bacon and brie panni. Very polite and friendly staff.”
“As others have said, best coffee on campus, the reusable cup scheme is really simple and makes sense, and staff are brilliant! Thanks!”
“We always enjoy a good sit down watch the world around us and activities going on. Always smiley service. Good treats and yummy sandwhiches. Wish there was a way to see the treats better.”
“Nice little coffee shop in a decent location (my mum couldn't get to it because of the stairs). Really good mochas.”
“A beautiful experience! The whole set up is so dainty and precious, the room is small and intimate with some seating on the street too. The owner is attentive and welcoming, and provides excellent service. The food was delicious, and the perfect amount too. Highly recommend - this was a highlight of our trip!”
“Absolutely wonderful, came today with friends although was very busy, staff were still very welcoming and lovely and polite, and still got our meals and drinks at a reasonable time! Even when other customers just left a table, the staff cleaned it up asap for us even tho they were busy! Defo recommend”
“This was our favorite brunch spot in Brighton and the best brunch we’ve had in the UK!! Unfortunately it was our last day in town so we didn’t have time to come back again, but definitely would have. The pancakes were melt in you mouth perfect and the jam was so good we tried asking if they sold it by the jar. Pistachio latte was great. The star of the show was the eggs on toast, which we definitely recommend!”
“Loved it. The coffee was great, really enjoyed it & ended up staying for two. Sandwiches were good. We would have liked hot food, which I think they do have but had run out of as it was early afternoon when we visited.”
“Cucinetta is the best restaurant in Worthing! It gets everything right. Food is delicious, service is exceptional and the price is reasonable. What more do you want? We went to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary on a Thursday night.”
“Delicious coffee and probably the best spinach and feta roll I've ever had! Friendly and prompt service. Laid back atmosphere with some outdoor seating available for sunny days :)”
“A warm and friendly atmosphere. Peter the pastor led a short service about the events leading up to Easter. I came away with food for thought. The coffee and hot cross buns were great too”
“This is the most accurate to a greasy spoon cafe I have been in. Friendly staff, simple but delicious fry-ups, locals popping in and being called by their first names. Massively reasonably priced as well!!”
“Busy café with so nice tarts ‼️”

“We stopped in for coffee and wished we had more time for breakfast. We enjoyed Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. Both were absolutely fantastic! The service was super personal, it truly gave the café vibe. It felt more like I was surrounded by locals and not just tourists. I recommend and wish we had found it sooner.”
“Absolutely amazing little cafe/restaurant Was there as a result of a business trip and I could've been more delighted The homemade desserts are to die for 10/10 will definitely go again when I'm next in the area”
“Just stopped here for coffee… great price!! £3.30 & nice & bold… so great to have them at the beach … clean toilets and fully loaded … only wish they were open more days and longer hours. Friendly staff like all the English!!!”
“Another banging cafe in Brighton, with some of the best coffee beans if you are on the hunt. Speciality coffee made well, but the flavour and complexity of the coffee itself makes this place a gem. The vibes are always good, especially when the sun is out and people are fighting over a seat on the little benches out front - they are perfect for soaking in the sun and the huddle and bustle of Brighton on the weekend. Seating inside is a little more rustic, opting for a more mis-matched vintage style. It’s comfy and cosy, great for chilling. (Heads up, not really a cafe to work in though, there’s no wifi) The selection of cakes and bakes is not what Bond Street focuses on, but the addition of bite sized cakes to pair with the coffee is fab. Nothing stand out, but the perfect little sweet treat to complement a great cup of coffee. Try dunking! All in all, Bond Street has some of the best coffee in Brighton. Whether they make the best cup is down to preference I guess, but the beans - fab.”
“Always great. Almost always busy with customers. Great selection of rotating beers on tap, most of them local. Food is cheap and actually decent. Bar games in the back”
