“Great staff . They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and well fed. Hats off to the chef. Defo worth a visit if you are in Peacehaven. We traveled from Newhaven so that says it all really”
“I walked in a (sort of) sleet storm from Worthing with the incentive of a coffee at the perch lancing and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely welcome, delicious coffee (& the best cheeky bacon bap - I’d walked 2.5 miles so I decided I deserved it!) great views. Just a shame a couple arrived and had a phone conversation on speaker next to me, but that’s not the perch’s fault! My first visit. The best incentive to do a 5 miler a couple times a week!”
“Really good selection of food. The menu had lots on that was tempting. Had a halloumi wrap and it was really good. Nice spot, near Anne’s Wells Garden with a relaxed, independent vibe. Will visit again.”
“Café can get quite busy but good choice on the menu including a popular breakfast menu. Service was good, food freshly cooked and pleasant outlook over the sea from an elevated raised area next to the car park. Outside seating and ladies and gents toilets.”
“The loveliest cafe in Lewes, amazing coffee and extremely tasty food. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t reccomend enough, I always stop by here whenever I’m in town!”
“Now, people are always very quick to complain, but never quick to priase. So, here's my review for them. Actually my second time visiting this coffee shop. I love the atmosphere, it's so friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent pricing, too! The manager, Katie, I believe was so friendly when I went in for my first coffee. I had a little laugh and a joke about the wide variety of cakes and pastries, as I'm on a Keto diet. She told me they were "sugar free!" I nearly fell for it. I had my coffee outside, nice little area, plenty of room, too. I loved it so much, I went in for another coffee. I told them it was actually one of the best coffees I've had from coffee shops. Most are bitter or they look and taste like the coffee hasn't been changed since 1973!!! :0) Again, I spoke to Wendy on the 2nd trip in, and I believe Wendy, the assistant manager served me this time. Absolutely brilliant senses of humour, and even wanted to know which of them served up the best coffee.....I'm getting ready to run now!! :0) Anyhoo, I highly recommend this coffee/eatery. I will definitely be coming back, especially as they have a reward system. ( stamping for each hot beverage. )”
“Have been to the River Cafe & Bistro in Shoreham a few times in the past and always found it pleasant for a coffee and cake / pastry or sausage roll. Today we had full on breakfasts of varying sorts and all were spot on. Now my favourite cafe in Shoreham by far.”
“I went here on Monday and this lovely girl in a bright blue top was very sweet and made me a great coffee! The cafe was so cozy and great fitting for the weather…definitely worth the visit!”
“Lovely little place with great people. They made us feel very warm and comfortable as we were with a toddler baby. The food was pretty good, but of course their hospitality is what makes the place top notch. We had ordered the English breakfast and a cheese omelette which were both wonderful.”
“Lovely place staff were great and helpful they made sure we had everything, Breakfast nicely cooked and we'll presented coffee was nice and they were willing to substitute one item for another”
“Decided to try Artisan as now under new management. Friendly service with a smile! Caters well for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Very good range of coffees and teas. Enjoyed our visit and would recommend.”
“Honestly, regardless of the times, coffee is good and some are not bad”
“Best coffee and cakes in the area with Nasiba’s lovely service. I’ll definitely come and breath this positive atmosphere again soon.”
“Lovely cafe with great ambience and atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and nice. It got a warm welcoming vibe and feels like a family and friendly place where everyone knows everyone. The coffees are excellent same as italian coffees strong and flavoured. Really good quality coffees. They have a variety of food like pastries cooked fresh in store, cakes and toasties paninis. It got outdoor seating and sliding windows which gives a fresh breeze while enjoying coffee from indoors and next to the sea and close to all the shopping stores and high street.”
“Superb shop with gorgeous kiddie goodies and great choice of books!”
“I love Park & Mist! Great quality coffee and a good selection of snacks and fresh sandwiches. The staff is super friendly which is an added bonus.”
“Lavazza is one of my favourite coffee brands and I was very happy to finally find good coffee in UK since I almost gave up on coffee after several disappointments. Also tried several cakes and they were all tasty. I keep returning every time I visit Brighton. Location is great and staff is friendly.”
“Lovely coffee, the Black forest latte is a revelation.. And the staff are fantastic!”
“Decent tea, decent chips, decent price, friendly people. Give this place your custom.”
“The best coffee around. Very clean shop and great prices.”
