“I had the most amazing experience at Rock and Rose in Richmond. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the crispy tempura shrimp, the chicken milanese, the lamb leg steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - can't fault anything, tasted amazing! The drinks were delicious too, the bartenders put on a whole show for us and it added to the experience. The staff were all so lovely and hospitable, I loved the decor and ambience inside and it was super packed which goes to show how popular it is. Thank you so much for having us, this place is a hidden gem for sure! Can't wait to return ✨️”

“As a photographer, Scots Richmond is such a hidden gem to work at. Tucked away in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond, it offers a lovely mix of charm, character, and style. The space has this warm, intimate feel while still being elegant, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed yet classy wedding day. From a photography point of view, there are so many great backdrops to work with whether it’s the stylish interiors, the natural light filtering through the windows, or the nearby greenery for outdoor portraits. The team at Scots Richmond are also fantastic super helpful, kind, and genuinely care about making the day run smoothly for everyone involved. “I have been visiting this Kokoro for months and I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. The food is fresh made on the day and they often make the sushi for my daughter and I when they don’t have ready. The employees are kind and friendly. I highly recommend!”

“I have eaten sushi all over the world, including Japan and mostly major USA cities at some of the best places-this was the best sushi I have ever eaten, hands down. The place is very small (japan style) low ceiling, one chef...just incredible taste and texture. We went early, about 4:15pm for dinner, took a chance and glad we did. No alcohol here either FYI.”

“A super find when we searched for a gastrobar between Roedean & London. Food was excellent, and the service was superb. I appreciated how they tried their best to nudge things along as we had expressed concern over our schedule when we made the reservation. Loved the local garden inclusions in the menu. “We went for the 3rd time for the lunch time serving. £80 per person but well worth every pound. The food was delicious, fresh and didn't disappoint. The waiters were polite. My only drawback is the manager. She's very abrupt as she gave a rude gesture when we declined wine and asked for bottle water. The way she speaks to customers and the waiters is impolite and unprofessional. She needs to retire as she's been there for too long or she needs to improve her customer facing skills as she would be the one reason why I wouldn't go back.”

“As a huge fan of Persian & Iranian cuisine, I have to say that this place is a solid 10. The garlic and sesame naan was fragrant and deliciously paired with the juicy koobideh kebab. The rice were fragrant and the flavours enhanced when we asked for some butter to go with them. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Fair pricing about £25pp”

“Stopped by the other day and was blown away! The coffee was outstanding, which is so hard to find in London. Made me feel like I was abroad. Croissants were also spot-on, and the owner was so warm and kind. When you step out of the station, turn right, and it’s about a minute’s walk. The kind of place you go out of your way to visit again!”

They've got a great selection of wine with experts to help find something you like at a decent price. The tasting options are always worth a drink and let them impart some knowledge about what you're drinking. Shame I forget it all straight after.”

The menu changes often - to tickle your taste buds, but old favourites are always available. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked and tremendously tasty. I highly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed.”

“Sat a outside on a cute street with lots of small village charm. This is an adorable petit French bistro! Unfortunately the chicken dish was out, so I opted for the vegetarian item of the day. It's was delicious. I started with the French onion soup, per recommendations. It was good, but I regret not trying something else. Highly recommend stopping by after a visit to Kew!”

“Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!”
