“A fun, interactive space to climb, run, jump and explore everything that a plant needs to grow. Based in a natural setting the size of 40 tennis courts, children can explore all the things plants need to grow in our Children's Garden, designed for children from 2 to 12 years old. Over 100 mature trees are spread over this beautiful landscape, with hidden treasures and adventures around every corner, leading to a 4m high canopy walk wrapped around a 200-year-old oak in the heart of the Children's Garden. No pre-booking required – all visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day until one hour before the Gardens close.”
“Our son has been at Kateys for 9 months now and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so welcoming and loving towards the children. The range of activities, play and learning they do is outstanding. Each day useful feedback is given and periodically more thorough feedback in the form of a learning journal and parents evenings. I'm always astonished by the range and depth of topics covered. The setting is excellent too with lots of outdoor space and nearby points of interest. Highly recommend.”
“Great community hub for children and families.”
“Staff were friendly and the beer was good all added up to a great place to watch rugby”
“Baby Sensory is a fantastic class to attend for new mothers and their babies. My son and I joined when he was a few months old (we waited too long tbh, I wish we joined from the start). The activities are well thought out and the props and room set up is really engaging for the babies. The classes are a great way to also connect with other mums and make genuine friends in the local area. If you don't fancy making friends, it's still nice to check in with other mums. My son and I will miss the classes and Renata specifically. She's a wonderful lead for the sessions and she takes the time to properly interact with the children and parents. It's well worth it if you're looking for a class for your baby.”
“Great place for little ones to go to”
“We are happy to have such an amazing children’s centre in the area. I can’t thank enough all staff members. Their knowledge and support made a real difference for our family. Thank you again!”
“The staff is very friendly and they truly care for the children. My daughter is very happy there, so we are.”
“This place is definitely worth a visit for a day in London! The different plant houses are awesome, and I love that it’s a part of history! Absolutely beautiful. Parking was pretty easy in the neighborhood across from the entrances if needed. There are multiple places to rest and grab food throughout the grounds. And wear your walking shoes! The grounds are rather large.”
“I have been coming here with my two little boys for the last 2 years. They love it and so do we! Staff have always been amazing and so good with the kids, space is lovely c always clean and lovely toys. Great coffee! And it’s the perfect size so you can get a few mins to have your coffee in peace as you can always see where they are . Couldn’t recommend high enough for a morning or afternoon out with your little ones !”
“Nice little palace in the middle of the beautiful Kew gardens. Definitely worth visit while in the gardens , got its own little garden as well.”
“I had a fascinating first visit to the National Archives researching my family history. I started my application online for a readers card which is essential to be able too use the full archive but it was a simple process, which I completed when I arrived at Kew. The assistance I received from the staff at the National Archive was excellent, they were patient and understanding and seemed to have as much time to give as was needed to help visitors get the best out of their visit. Parking... There is adequate parking available which is payable using machines in the main foyer. Blue Badge Parking... There is a good number of Parking spaces for those with Blue Badges, split between the front and back of the building. Disabled Access... The building is well designed for all people using the facilities, with ramps and lifts as an alternative to stairs. Toilet facilities are equally well thought out. Food and Drink... There is a large refreshment area with both casual seating if you're just having a quick Coffee plus a large number of places to eat at tables. Be sure to check the closing time of the hot food service, it isn't the same as the Archives. I went on a Thursday which is the late opening day of the National Archives, yet although the archive wasn't closing until 7pm, the hot food stopped at 2pm and there definitely wasn't a full choice of options at 1.30pm. There is book-come-gift shop on the same floor as the refreshment area.”
“Absolutely love visiting this park. The deer have become accustomed to humans being near, great to capture shots, but don't get too close!”
“The one oclock club is like the dream backgarden but of your best friends house so you don’t have to tidy up! Your children can run wild with no shoes, get wonderfully wet and grubby and generally have a bit of a 90s childhood experience. There a thousand different toys to play and experiment. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it suits them both perfectly. They can explore the space independently and it’s the perfect size for me to keep an eye on them without hovering over them. We love it!”
“I took my two kids, ages 8 and 12, to today's show in Southampton, Mayflower Park. We all enjoyed it very much.”
“Great place to hire a venue. I have just organised a Teens party in the Alexandra Hall and everything worked perfectly well. The communication with all parties involved was excellent, and the venue has everything for a great party: large space, as many tables and chairs as you need, a mini kitchenette, enough sockets on the wall and a lift to carry everything to the Hall. We managed to fit in an Inflatable photo booth, a long table for 30, extra tables for activities and a dancing area with a DJ. Definitely a venue that to know about if you are local…or not, as it has easy access from the A4 and the A316.”
“A nice little park. Since it's located a bit inside, i don think it's usually crowded. A very calm place with safe slides, swing etc to play for the kids.”
“I can't speak highly enough of Twickenham Park Nursery. Our 2 year old has been going there for 15 months now and we genuinely feel like we are handing her over each morning to another set of parents! The staff are all amazing and have worked at the nursery for a long time, led fantastically by the manager Guy who has been in charge for 18 years! We are friends with a lot of other parents at the nursery, and everyone speaks extremely highly of the care and attention their children are given. Every week or month we notice more things that our daughter has learned at nursery which always amazes us. I could not recommend the nursery more.”
“We had Heather from Froggle for my daughter's 4th birthday party and she was absolutely fantastic. The kids loved her and even most of the parents were laughing. There was lots of silliness and crazy magic tricks and jokes. She even started before her alloted time getting to know all the children and easily built a rappor with them. Even the kids who don't normally join in did, and had a great time, which is definitely a great reflection on Heather. The whole process was so easy, I barely had to do anything other than directions to the venue and Heather took care of everything else. Would highly recommend a Froggle party.”
“I popped in today to book a party for my daughter. Incredibly friendly, a very nice atmosphere and a much needed facelift for the place. The fridges are full, looks very welcoming and more like a cafe with pottery. We are very excited to be going tomorrow, will update the review after that”
“I had an absolute ball at this place .. I am 51 and was with my 12 year old niece! Climbing and Jumping! Super fun! The slide was ace too!”
“I'm delighted to recommend the STEM summer camp led by the wonderful teacher duo. My 7-year-old son had a blast with the arts and crafts, and the educational activities fascinated him. The teachers' warm and patient nature helped him connect and learn. This camp struck the perfect balance of craft, active games, and learning.”
“Such a great class! Julia is so lovely and my baby loved every session - we went for a full year. More affordable/accessible than lots of other classes out there and I met some really nice other mums/babies too. Would highly recommend!”
“The staff here are so amazing. My husband who has young onset dementia attends 2 days a week and I cannot fault the place . It allows me to have some freedom in the knowledge that he is safe and cared for.”
“My daughter has been attending this nursery for about a year. She has learned many new things and always looks forward to going. The nursery has plenty of space, a secure environment, and a dedicated staff who are very involved with the children.”
“My Sunshine Day has been absolutely life-changing for our children. From day one, the level of care and attention they received exceeded all our expectations. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s well-being. What stood out to us immediately was the one-on-one support provided not just by their room teachers, but by the entire management team. Everyone made the effort to get to know our children personally, which helped them feel secure, seen, and valued during their transition into the nursery. Our children took time to settle, and the staff were so patient and nurturing throughout. They created a calm, comforting environment that helped them build confidence at their own pace. Their happiness and comfort have always been the top priority, and we felt reassured every day that they were in the best possible hands. The nursery itself is beautiful—bright, welcoming, and filled with thoughtfully chosen toys and resources that encourage creativity, imagination, and independence. The rooms are clean and well-organized, making it a joy for the children to explore. What really sets this nursery apart is the variety and quality of the activities they offer. Our children have loved the sessions in music, languages, sports, arts, and even theater. These experiences have had a huge impact on their confidence, communication, and social development—and they’re always excited to share what they’ve learned each day. We've also had incredible support with potty training and language development. The staff are so experienced, consistent, and encouraging, and they kept us updated every step of the way. It's made a huge difference in how quickly and positively our children have progressed. We feel so lucky to have found this nursery. It’s more than just childcare—it’s a warm, inspiring community that puts children’s happiness and development at the heart of everything. My Sunshine Day has truly changed our children’s lives, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly to any parent.”
“Our two kids have attended Montys since they were one, and it’s been an exceptional experience - a true home away from home. The team’s experience, knowledge, kindness, and dedication are second to none, creating a nurturing environment where kids thrive. Ours have been incredibly happy and were well-prepared for school when the time came. I wholeheartedly recommend Montys to any parent, and every family we know who’s sent their child there shares the same enthusiasm for this outstanding team. Last but by no means least, I must mention the office efficiency and food they make for the kids too. Eternally grateful for the Montys family. I just wish they didn’t have to grow up!”
“Our daughter has been enjoying Playball (Richmond) for the past two years now, and we intend to continue for as long as possible as she absolutely loves it! With Bonnie and Trevor's encouragement and expert tuition, we have watched our little girl grow in confidence and develop motor skills which support her physical development and ability, nurturing her interest and curiosity in sports and being generally more active. Something that particularly amazed me was when Trevor ran a special birthday playball session for about 15 toddlers for our daughters 3rd birthday (most of which had never participated in playball before), whereby, though his excitable and encouraging style, every child, without exception, remained engaged and participated the whole way through - other parents also commented at just how amazed they were to see their children enjoy it so much and to take part. Even those that had a tendency to be shy, or didnt know many of the other children, got stuck in! Thank you, Bonnie and Trevor, you guys have been simply amazing. Enjoy the summer and we look forward to returning to Playball again next term!”
