“Once again Berberè delivers on quality, service and friendliness of staff. On a tricky night (Berbere’s birthday with loads of people queueing for a free pizza) the staff were super busy yet attentive and made me feel valued. Big shout to chef Cristiano and Mario for the good banter and for showing me how a great pizza is made. I’m a regular and will keep going back to their Clapham and TCR joints.”

“We had the most amazing time at Cheeky Chicos, we organised my friends hen do and we had 35 people in their private back room! It was incredible, they went above and beyond to help make it a special event and I cannot recommend them high enough! The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious, it was all very reasonable price wise too - everybody said it was amazing quality and value! I searched lots of places in London, but everybody wanted to charge ridiculous prices for a private room! It was a really memorable day and we will definitely be back!”

“Stunning burger, I've never had anything like it. We had a smokey burger each which was served in a smoke filled glass dome. When the waitress revealed our burgers we were treated with a waft of beautifully scented smoke. The whole experience was lovely and I'll definitely come back again.”

“Superb pub. We’ve been here a couple of times - for Valentines when it just opened and today. Both times the service, food and atmosphere was exemplary. We came here as a family, it was easy to book and drawing was provided for our 5 year old and water for our puppy. Kids and dogs seem really welcome. There was football showing on the screens and it wasn’t overpowering. The food was slightly slower to arrive than ideal but it was made up for by friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended!”

“Hands down the best tacos & frozen tequila I have had in ages. The tacos that I chose were: ox cheeks, chicken and duck. And let me tell you all three options were amazing, full of flavour and very filling. The frozen tequila was perfect, perfectly balanced. Will definitely come back to try other cocktails, as they looked amazing. The manager and her staff were super friendly and ensured everyone was looked after. Will definitely be back!”

“I've used this dental practice twice over the past few months (a tooth extraction and a hygiene session) and have been extremely satisfied with the dental care, which has been very professional, and knowledgeable. I have felt very reassured and safe in their hands. The practice is run extremely efficiently, with reminders about appointments etc. Will definitely continue to use this practice.”

A great place to come and work for a few hours, as they also have plugs at some tables and it doesn’t usually get too busy/noisy so its a good environment to sit with a laptop. The ruben is very nice and the poached eggs came perfect and runny, and coffee was good too, the art is cute :)”

Even more exciting, the owner shared plans for a complete refurbishment, which will introduce a fresh, contemporary ambience while preserving the restaurant’s unwavering commitment to culinary excellence. Our party of four embarked on a memorable culinary journey guided by recommendations from our generous host and the accomplished manager, Alex—a Scotsman delightfully at home running an Indian curry house. We began with starters of crispy Bengali Fried Sardines and succulent Lamb Shashliks served with fluffy Peshwari Naan. The main courses were simply outstanding: a beautifully slow-cooked Parsi Lamb Dhansak, a rich and flavourful Chittagong King Prawn Bhuna, and an array of classic sides including Tarka Daal, Saag, and crisp Bhajis. Each dish was faultless—bursting with authenticity and flavour. Equally impressive was the service. The waitstaff went above and beyond—whether because we were special guests or simply a reflection of their natural hospitality, it made the evening all the more special. “We thought this place was great. We ate in and loves the service. Warm, welcoming, and friendly. We both had the dinner special and chose duck pancake to start and chicken thai green curry with jasmine rice for a main. both were excellent. The duck was a bit crispy with fresh cool veg and plenty of hoisan sauce. The rice was perfectly cooked and the curry was spicy but not too hot. The churro at the end was not the best and a bit greasy but who goes to a thai place for chuuros am i right? Defo recommend and will be going back regularly!”

“I ordered flowers online for my mum s birthday and they turned out beautiful even better than in the pictures. She said the whole living room smelled like spring. Delivery was smooth arrived same day, and the bouquet looked fresh for more than a week. I was a bit nervous because it was an online order but everything went perfect. Really happy with this florist from Clapham will use again for sure.”

The place was spotless and the food was outstanding, it was clear to us that they are very passionate about the food that's served there. The cocktails were lovely. I had Jerk Chicken and my wife had oxtail. Both were really well cooked. The oxtail melted in the mouth and the rice was some of the best we'd ever had. Definitely going back again.”

“The cleanest,freshest friendliest Travelodge I've ever stayed in.bang on the high road for shops pubs ,public transport etc . Not great for parking though( we weren't driving) . The room we had wasn't big ,but for a couple of nights it's all we needed . So if you are in tga Clapham area and need a place to stay I'd give it a big thumbs up .”
