“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“I had an 11-hour layover and decided to stop by Oceanic Pub. Easily the best decision I made. The passion fruit martinis were incredible, the brisket was perfectly done, and the place had a great atmosphere. “Recently stayed in Hounslow for 3 nights, was really impressed with the local Spoons. Had an evening meal and a couple pints when we arrived, and I had a breakfast on 2 of the mornings. Was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Nice. If ever in the area again would most definitely visit. Enjoy.”

“All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. “I had a great experience at The Globe Pub & Kitchen, Terminal 5 Heathrow. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In such a busy airport environment, the staff, especially Neckly, really made me feel comfortable and well looked after. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend stopping here before your flight.”

“Recently attended a friend's birthday party that was hosted here and was very taken back by the service and the food. To be honest I wasn't aware that they did food but as part of the birthday meal we had a few great dishes as part of 'platters' lollipop chicken, spring rolls, fried fish and more. All of which was delicious and filling, we found ourselves at tbe pool table having a chat which is great to see in a locals pub. I am now led to believe they take bookings and delivery their wholesome dishes too. Surprised us and very much looking forward to returning, what a find.”

“I stayed at the Radisson Red across the street and good thing I was not too tired and walked to the 3 Magpies. I had a very delicious chicken pie, my mate had the beef and beer (something like that) and they were both excelent, crispy outside and saucy inde. ashed down with a pint. Decent prices too.”

“Stopped here for a bite to eat while waiting for my flight, honestly, I'm pretty shocked at the low review of this place, it was pretty good! I decided to get the meat pie of the day which was a steak pie and it came with gravy, mashed potatoes and heated greens. For an airport, I don't know what more you could ask for. Sure, it was pricy, loud, and busy, but it's an airport. If you're here looking for a luxury quant experience I suggest touching grass instead.”

“I went in yesterday for a small plate of breakfast - specifically hash browns and a fried egg. The coffee was free refills and it was all reasonably priced, came quickly and with a smile. Great service. I then left my kindle on the table so called the restaurant. Clayton very kindly contacted me to arrange for the kindle to be sent by post or picked up. In the end, he worked out a solution with my brother for him to pick it up and I couldn't be happier. Such a kindness and thank you! Happy new year!”

“Cozy pub with a fantastic view, great food and friendly service. Iyane and her colleagues were lovely. The plant-based burger with chips was delicious, without onion or garlic, and a good-sized portion, not too large or too small. The Cointreau hot-chocolate was perfect, not too sweet.”

“Great value for money and the server tried really hard to get our food quickly since we were very tight on time. I had the porridge with bananas and berries and it was well cooked. My travelling companion had the full English breakfast with no complaint. Sorry I didn't catch the name of our server but she was so nice and friendly. Highly recommended for breakfast.”

“The last stop before you fly. Staff are always genuinely friendly, genuinely having a good laugh working there, and it creates a nice atmosphere in a place which has no right to have any. Food is nice, they try various new selections and such which is a good touch for a 'convenience' pub. Decor's done well, despite the industrial setting.”
