“Been coming here for couple of years now, probably once a month sometimes twice a month. I was using them for around 6 months and then I brought my son to them who had never had a hair cut (3 years old) and they done a fantastic job. I’ve used a few different places around Watford but the service is top quality here, hence why I go back. The shop itself could do with a makeover in my honest opinion and I’m sure at some point it will but “you should never judge a book by it’s cover” sometimes the best places look like the worst from the outside but i fact this place is a diamond in the rough. Reasonably priced considering the ever increasing cost of haircuts - I think the end result and the service in general is worth it.”

“Pizzas and kebabs are delicious, this is now my go to place. The owners are lovely. Recently ordered some pizzas for my son’s birthday party over in Croxley and they delivered on time and they were still lovely and hot. Everyone enjoyed. I’m so glad this my local. Thank you ☺️”

“Driven past this shop many times and made a mental note that they stocked the larger sizes for men. Called in today to buy a black suit. I was met by nice friendly man who wasn't all fake smiles and over the top attention. I told our man what I wanted, he didn't even ask me my size, he gave me a once over then handed me a jacket to try. Although the jacket fitted, he got me to try another one which fitted like a glove. I then tried the trousers on which again fitted well. Next he sorted me a nice plain white shirt. This place is real old school, where you deal with experienced knowledgeable professionals. They have a massive range of clothing and footwear. Although I wasn't rushed at all, I was in and out in 10 minutes. For me this was an excellent experience and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality clothing, excellent service and good value for money. We should all support these wonderful independent places before they all disappear.”

“Great little pub in the centre of Watford which isn't just part of another chain franchise, so a rarity! They've recently don't up the beer garden which now has to be the best in town, good selection of beers and ciders, reasonable prices, nice staff, just a really great pub!”

“Lovely hotel which was perfectly situated! 15 min drive from st Albans which was lovely to explore with a stunning cathedral. And 15 min drive the other way to Harry potter world!! So perfect for us, friendly staff with full use of pool, sauna and steam room so that was a huge plus. Rooms were simple but had everything required. Food was lovely at the hotel and something that made me super happy was when asked for a take out box, They had these biodegradable boxes (instead of the standard plastic tubs) and paper straws! ✌ so big shout out for that.”

“Little shop but tidy and friendly staff. I went there to look for a last minute birthday gift for my little sister. There was a great variety of items and good deals (buy 6 pay for 3). However, if you have time I would suggest looking on their website first and ordering if possible as they have even better deals. When I was doing the shop I checked online and pretty much all the items I picked out were discounted by 50% or so compared to the in-shop prices! So definitely something to keep in mind.”
