“I’ve been having treatments with Kai and Abi since moving to Rickmansworth, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Kai has given me pregnancy massages as well as full-body and hot stone massages. She always pinpoints exactly where the pain is and explains how to relieve it beyond just massage. I even recommended her to my father-in-law, and thanks to her treatments he has made remarkable progress since his stroke. Over the past year, Kai and her team have worked hard to improve his circulation and muscle movement, and we’ve seen a real difference in his independence and mobility. I’ve also had treatments from Abi, including regular eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as her incredible Korean facials. These facials have improved my skin so much that even my husband noticed the difference — especially the reduction in blackheads on my nose!”

“Wonderfully friendly staff, Kate and her team provide a lovely, engaging environment and produce excellent haircuts. Being open late on Thursdays and Sunday means that it always possible to walk in and get a really good haircut. Going in at peak times might mean a wait but then I find I get drawn into the conversation or banter and the time flies.”

“I had a wonderful experience. Firstly, there is a huge variety of options particularly for bridal wear. This is some of the best and most real looking artificial jewellery in the U.K. (even though many of the gemstones are natural stones too). The gold plating is done amazingly and the standard of the jewellery is very high. The team give you attention and can custom order to your desired colour and style. I highly reccomend.”

“We popped in as a friend is staying locally. The pub isn’t much to look at from the outside but the food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. Attentive and fast service. Really friendly. The food was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic—delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. There was a great variety on the menu, catering to all tastes, and everyone in our group found something they loved. The atmosphere was also a highlight. The large outdoor kids' play area kept the little ones entertained, which made our dining experience much more relaxed. “A great pub in lovely country surroundings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They came to our table to take our order, but also had an app. The staff are really friendly, it’s clean and roomy. For hiking, it was wonderful to have this pub on route. I would definitely recommend coming here.”

“This place is a hidden gem! A small local and friendly pub with bug beer garden, but a hidden thai restaurant upstairs! The food was delicious and genuine thai, had a chance to meet the chef and she was a pleasure to talk to. We had to take takeaway after we finished dinner, which almost never happens to me. The staff was very friendly, we were served quickly and in general it was a lovely evening. Next time I am in the area, will have to stop for a meal!”

“From the atmosphere, to the service and staff everything was nothing short of amazing. All the food was absolutelly amazing but the Korean fried chicken burger was the star of the show. The burger was an explosion of flavors and textures. The crispy chicken was coated in a sweet and spicy sauce topped with crunchy slaw and creamy mayo, it was one of the best burgers I had in years. Compliments to everyone. I will definitely be back.”

“A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!”
