“I’ve stayed here many times as it’s ideal for visiting family near by. The staff are always really friendly and helpful and we always have a pleasant stay. Some of the rooms are a bit dated but the beds are always comfy and we get a good nights sleep.”

“Went to Gravesend for the day and stayed the night here. Was greater kindly and served by Vlada who kindly got us a ground floor room have our Romeo with us (Maltipoo) she recommended a few places to visit while on our stay and very helpful. In the morning had the breakfast that is included in the stay and was welcomed very nicely by Claire who was very friendly too along with all the staff. Overall a lovely place to stay very chilled and wonderful staff”

“Our experience at Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel and Spa was amazing! Our room was of their new ones which was beautifully made, it had all the essentials you would require for your stay, and our beds were very comfortable. My husband, daughter and I had booked in for the Ishga massages at their spa and the masseurs were truly skilled. My masseur, Joy, was great and asked what type of pressure I liked and she was very talented. I was completely relaxed and refreshed at the end of it. My family gave me good feedback about the other 2 girls as well, I'm sorry I don't remember your names, I wanted to say thank you! Will definitely be back!”

“Value for money, have stayed twice in recent months as a stop en route Eurotunnel and will stay again. Rooms appear recently redecorated/carpeted. Comfortable bed. Strong shower and decent towels. Friendly welcome at reception. Dog friendly. Easy 10-15 minutes walk to the Wharf, good bar/restaurant.”

“Best pub about for Miles. Lines and Glass's are crystal Clean. It's a Locals Pub but one which is very Welcoming. Always has 4 Ales on and 2-3 Guest Ales. Staff are Polite and Pub is kept spotless. Land lady is Brilliant reason Pub is Very Popular.”

I enjoyed my facial and hot stone massage and would like to thank Selina very much. We could choose a lunch from the bar menu to a value of £25 if we didn’t want to choose from the set spa day lunch menu. I went with my daughter for my 60th Birthday treat and would recommend. “Location is fantastic . We decided to stay over after a visit to Lakeside and go out to the boom battle bar. The staff were all lovely from reception to the breakfast staff . “Very clean, spacious accommodation with parking directly in front of the small hotel. I booked it for my visiting family and we were very happy. The double aspect room for two contained a king size and single bed with TV and small fridge, etc. The room was heated before our arrival to a cosy temperature for winter. Enough room for luggage. Lovely high ceilings with crisp white walls and bedding. The hotel is connected to an Indian Restaurant, but the rooms did not smell of spices at all, in case you were concerned. Flexible booking in and out. Friendly staff. We will definitely use this hotel again.”

“Please don't let bad reviews put you off!! My friend and I booked the room the night before travelling up to London, cheap hotel split between us. We chanced our luck to check in early and was greeted by a lovely lady on the door who gave us access to our room. Room is a good size, clean in all areas absolutely no complaints. Decent shower, fridge, microwave and kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Towels provided aswell. Perfect if you need a comfortable bed and want good value for money. 10 minute walk to Dartford Station, a shop next door and loads of decent takeaways nearby.”

“My loved one was an inpatient at LH for 4 months in 2023. Cherrywood Ward. Our experience of the hospital was very good. The nurses, reception, doctors are all approachable and friendly. This place is really to sort the right medication out. It was our first experience of a psychiatric hospital and a huge shock. I made a point of chatting to any patients and staff on visits, it must be a difficult job and some patients unfortunately have no family at all. Kindness costs nothing. There is a large communal area on each ward, with an outdoor courtyard. Bedrooms are small with en suite. There are occupational therapy groups for patients like walking group, music group, breakfast club, self care group, chicken group, exercise group which are all simple ideas but very enjoyable. Do not be afraid to keep calling the ward for updates. Doctors usually call back with updates. They are very short staffed due to funding but I found them to be approachable and helpful. There is a wonderful family support lady called Kat who can find out any information you need if you call her. Also a monthly CPA meeting you are invited to attend. We stayed in close contact with our loved one by phone and we visited and took them out for a few hours when well enough and also home leave for two nights. Nearest pub for lunch is The Wharf , nice reasonably priced little cafe called Lizzie’s and also the country park is good. We also took our loved one for a haircut and beauty treatments to Guys n Dolls round the corner who were absolutely amazing with her when she was so unwell.”
