We had the pano jackfruit, Massaman Lamb, chilli chips, coconut rice and vegetarian pad Thai. The pad Thai was fresh and curry was well flavoured. The prawn crackers were crispy and fresh.”

“Stayed here for one night for a wedding at the beginning of August. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave good advice about parking and made the check-in process easy. The room was clean and as you’d expect for a premier inn. Breakfast was good and location was ideal for where we were going. For the price this was a great choice!”

Receptionists are really friendly to speak to and they are very accommodating. The practice is very busy but in my opinion, they manage it really well! “I found Lakeside by Googling Lotus Specialists about 5 years ago because my 1985 Excel had a head gasket issue plus a few minor faults. I have owned the car since 1988 and it is low milage (35k). I spoke to Tim and he gave me the advice regarding the repair required and a estimate of cost. I had the car transported to the garage and Tim carried out all my list of requirements to perfection including a a full service. When I collected the car Tim and his wife were fantastic hosts and showed me the work that they had carried out and even had the car washed for me. I collected the car on a Saturday and drove down the road to the garage to put some fuel in by the McClaren Cars entrance. As I turned the corner to my horror the clutch went and that was me to a standstill. It was now past 1 o'clock and the garage was closed. Fortunately I had Tims number, explained my predicament and he and Fiona arrived in their truck and their own Elan M100. Tim insisted that I drive the Elan home whilst he carried out a replacement of the master cylinder the following week. This we did and I returned to drive my car home the following weekend. There a few garages that would come out after closing and fewer that would loan out their own car. Faultless in every sense and my Excel performs better than ever. I did write a review years ago but it was not showing today, so I have re-posted my experience using Lakeside. Number One for me for Lotus Service and Repairs. Brian Capp Hereford. PS Will be visiting again soon as the car has now done 36,000 miles and will be 40 years old in February.”

“Beautiful canal-side pub with a great atmosphere! The Pelican in Addlestone is an absolute gem. Set right by the canal, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. They regularly book some amazing live bands, which really add to the friendly, chilled but lively vibe of the place. I had the moussaka and the honey garlic chicken from the specials menu — both were absolutely divine! You can really tell the food is homemade, full of flavour and care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great live music, proper food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be visiting again!”

“Amazing Pizza. We like the pizzas at Fireaway pizza the best compared to any other usual pizza chain store. We usually get the pizzas delivered to our house but today we went to the restaurant and had an amazing experience. It is 30 degrees outside now but the air con is blowing cool air right on my face while I enjoy my pizza. We tried the milkshakes as well today ( oreo and nutella) and both were simply amazing, very creamy. Very friendly staff and amazing service! This is our go-to pizza place and we literally don’t eat pizzas anywhere else now! Must try!”

“This is an amazing place. For £6 you get a choice of 2 mains plus pudding and a soft drink to wash it down. The food is lovely and all cooked that morning so absolutely fresh. The waiters are from a local SN group so they get great work experience. Best get down on a Thursday and help out the local community. I’ll be back next week!”
