Instead of a cookie-cutter design, we now have a beautifully bespoke German kitchen that’s been tailored to suit our home and our lifestyle perfectly. “Giulio & the Scavolini team delivered a great job for me. I did my kitchen with them and Giulio has been next to me on each step of the journey: from the choice of the style, to the materials, several renders on how to maximise spaces and make my kitchen elegant & practical at the same time (carattere style with ocean quartz top used for breakfast bar too). As Italian the kitchen is a vital part of the flat and now I find myself all the time either there or in the lighten room - exactly as it should be ! I also did my bedroom & main entrance wardrobes , chest of drawers and side table along with Giulio. Products are genuinely amazing and I felt giulio totally understood the flavour I wanted the flat to have. Goes without saying I highly recommend here - great products, great prices and very fine after care services as well!”

His fitter of the worktops said the units were fitted to absolute perfection as no spacers were needed at all. He drew up plans and was happy to revise this in order to meet our precise requirements. Matt was very patient and helpful, the whole design process was a collaboration between him and us. “I started looking for a new kitchen back in autumn, and it wasn’t finished until midsummer the following year — a timeline that had me wondering if I’d wandered into an episode of Midsomer Murders. There were a couple of walls being knocked down and a bathroom fit out being completed as well, thankfully, no mysterious disappearances… just the arrival of a stunning kitchen which was well worth the wait. The final product is amazing with lots of character fitting perfectly with the house and the original vision. We went with an Ashley Ann shaker-style design, and it really does look the part — solid build, classic lines, and a lovely dual colour scheme that gives the space real depth and charm. It’s both modern and timeless — exactly what we were after. BCK were excellent right from the start. The pre-sales advice was clear, transparent and honest, and we felt supported the whole way through. The planning meetings were great and detailed, so good I thought I was running the showroom at one stage. Communication was strong — no black holes (even if the draw fronts felt like they were coming via Uranus at one point). Special mention to the excellent fitting team, who came in towards the end and helped bring everything together with care, professionalism, cricket chat and Oasis riffs. They really made the difference in those final stages. All in all, a solid gold five stars. Yes, there were lots of questions, but the finished result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that’s completely transformed our home. Realising we needed a new or updated kitchen we duly scoured the kitchen workshops and suppliers in our area. Upon arrival at their showrooms at Badgers Mount (Polhill) it was.obvious that GBK was a serious contender for our hard earned cash. Experiencing no pressure to purchase, we were guided through their range of units and it became obvious to us that GBK were the company to use. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. But it’s one thing to see your dream kitchen in a showroom, against perfectly smooth walls and level floors, what would it look like in our 1930’s semi? We need not have worried, the fitting of our kitchen was superb. Attention to detail and constructed as if the fitter was placing the kitchen in his own house. The kitchen we chose was not cheap but in this life you only get what you pay for.. WE HAVE NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER IN RECOMMENDING GBK&I Fred & Sue Griffiths”

“We just completed our kitchen refit with Danmar and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process. From the initial free design consultation, the friendliness of every person in the business, the speed of the project and the quality of the finished product. We don’t have the biggest kitchen compared to many in Danmar portfolio, but that wasn’t a problem and their design does a huge amount with our space. And we thought the cost would be higher for a bespoke kitchen through Danmar than an out of the box kitchen through one of the big national retailers, but we were very surprised at how comparable they were. We will be using Danmar for future projects around the house, and would highly recommend them to anyone.”
