Beautifully decorated for Christmas and warm welcoming lit fireplaces are a huge bonus. The service was kind and professional. Tyrell did a great job taking our order. The room was lovely and even though the room I booked was not air conditioned l, it was quite cool! 10 minute walk to South Harrow station which is served by the Piccadilly Line and a 5 minute bus ride to Harrow-on-the-Hill for the Metropolitan Line. Bus stop is in front of the hotel and buses are extremely frequent, every 5 to 8 minutes.”

From start to finish the service was exceptional, even more so given the short notice of our booking. The booking process with Kevin was very simple and he was friendly and helpful; our chauffeur Toks was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel like VIP’s! The jumbo prawns were an absolute standout—so fresh and full of smoky, charred goodness! Every dish I tried was amazing, from the chapli kabab to the lamb shoulder and mantu. And let’s not forget the Afghani falooda and sheeryak—the perfect sweet ending to the meal! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, making the experience even better. It’s no surprise this place has been around for 17 years and is award-winning! If you’re looking for authentic Afghani food in London, you HAVE to try Masa. Highly recommend!”

“Went in for beers and not disappointed. This pub was my local for a few years and it has always been a good pub. They have redecorated and the pub looks better and has more comfortable seating. The lager is great! The lines are looked after and the point is as fresh as you like. Staff are friendly and the clientele are pleasant too. This its possibly one of the cheapest pubs around with a pint costing £4.20-4.80 roughly (can't remember precisely).”

“The Aura is such a beautiful place, came here for my birthday dinner and the food was delicious specially the chilli chicken, drinks were great to, a little mix up happened with the drinks but Addy the bartender was nice and sorted it out, plus the drinks were delicious, staffs are also so polite which made the experience better, Berrie and Dhruvi served me and were so great to me and my girls! i recommend this lounge:)”

“My wife did my suprise 40th here and this is the first time back since (2 years). The atmosphere is lovely and a real family vibe. The train running along the top is a nice feature too. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and polite. The service provided was excellent and a credit to the establishment. The food was fantastic. We ordered a mixed grill (off menu), fish, naans, butter chicken, methi chicken, prawns, malai broccoli, chicken wings and chicken tikka as well as some bhel. Everything was delicious. Flavours were on point and perfectly balanced. No dodgy food colouring either. The prawns were overdone but this is typical of an Indian restaurant and ended up have a bite to them but the taste was good. We did get a celebration brownie at the end. Was disappointed to see we were charged for this though. Ended with the house chai, it was lovely. Overalls, fantastic food and definitely will be going again and highly recommend.”

“I ordered a takeaway for two special kebab platters around 3pm for it to be delivered to my house at 6pm. They do not have a delivery service. Jamal was super helpful and went out of his way to provide delivery. We received our order grilled to perfection with bread salad and sauces on time. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and we will be ordering again. Although I have been in the area for around 30 years, I haven't ever tried Zara before. I like to support local restaurants, and realise with the recent cost of food price hikes, the owners are doing their best to survive. Online ordering services like Deliveroo, Just Eats and Uber Eats take hefty commissions. I always prefer to order direct and let the restaurant owners make a decent margin such that they are there to serve us. Well done Zara Restaurant and thank you.”

“Hands down the best tasting burgers. We thought of trying them out with the 'eat out to help out' scheme. There was a queue so I was a little apprehensive about getting a seat soon and our order sooner..but I must say, they handled it quite well. The manager was cool and respectful. We ordered at the counter, had to pay by cash only. Within 5-10 mins we had our order on our table..and taste wise it was yumm!! Even the kids meal (burgers) were tasty. To add to this, the service was top notch..special mention to Manuel, he is a superstar who made our evening awesome. I could see the kitchen busy, but the staff looked happy and we're having fun. They loved being there. Definitely visiting again.”
