“Lovely atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Food was delicious and the wait time was very reasonable we didnt even feel like we were waiting. We were served by some really lovely ladies who made us feel very comfortable. There was a live singer while we were there which was exciting. Everything on the menu is halal and they were happy to serve me a mocktail version of any of the drinks on the menu!”

It had a lovely atmosphere with Italian music playing, it was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. “I guess this is a pub frequented by the locals as everyone seemed to know each other very well. We ordered tea followed by main courses. The chef here can really conjure up a wonderful meal. The vegetarian choice was really delicious, full of flavour and perfectly presented. The sunday roast was so gigantic in portion size! Really highly recommend trying the food menu. The tea we ordered was unfortunately tepid, rather disappointing but hey it wouldn't deter me from coming back. Good choice of pub deserving of it's high rating. Oh and its dog friendly which is a super big bonus..”

“Fantastic little local of mine. Pop in on the odd occasion for a swift pint or to meet friends before jumping on the train. Prices are really good here (Summer 2023) still. 2 pints for under £11-12 quid . Good range of beers too. Nice locals and a good garden that gets some brilliant sun in the summer months. Garden is closed in so its safe for little dogs and large enough for a good group of people.”

The spread was generous and beautifully presented from freshly baked simit and warm bread to rich cheeses, olives, honey with clotted cream, and a perfectly brewed Turkish tea. Every bite was full of authentic flavors that transported me straight to Turkey. The menemen (scrambled eggs with tomato and pepper) was especially delicious and creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The staff (Hatice) was very welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The cozy atmosphere and vibrant dishes made for a relaxing and satisfying morning. If you love hearty, flavorful breakfasts, I can’t recommend Aksular enough!”

“think this is one of the best Costa Coffee outlets in the Havering area of outer London. It is run with super efficiently and a lot of care is taken to meet any special requests such as extra hot etc etc I do not know how long the young lady whose name i understand is Valentina has been at Costa but she certainly seems to be very experienced.She stays calm and organised even when it is very busy. I like to give praise where praise is deserved and she certainly deserves it. She has the perfect manner for dealing with the public and makes the minimum fuss about it. A credit to Costa ! Her colleagues are very good too and no doubt are recipients of good advice from Valentina. Thank you Paul”
