“I have been using Westmead Halal for many years and I don't remember having a bad meal from them. I have used other Indian restaurants from time to time but I always return to Westmead Halal. Their naan bread are one of the nicest I've had. I would highly recommend them and if you order via their own website and collect they offer amazing discounts.”

“I've been to this pub a few times at the weekend for the food and also for the entertainment. On Fridays, i have visited with friends, and there has been a karaoke. The guy doing it is great and gets everyone involved. My friends and I have also been on a Saturday and have enjoyed the food and often stay for the disco after. The DJ is great and always tries to fit in song requests. The atmosphere has always been good and the staff are very friendly, it is also great that the pub is dog friendly and the staff are more than happy to get a bowl of water for you when needed which is great.”

The residence managers, Samuel and Mima, have always gone above and beyond to support residents—any issue, big or small, is addressed quickly and professionally. The building itself is modern, with great amenities including a gym, lounge, coworking spaces, parcel storage, and a fantastic roof terrace. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the train station and Sutton High Street, making commuting and shopping incredibly easy. “YES YES YES. Amazing owners and staff, always making me feel welcome. My favourite eatery in all of Sutton. Prices are fair, portion sizes are amazing and the flavours are delicious. There are vegetarian and vegan options. The plantain and patties are tasty and you must try a tradition Trini double which is two fried bread with curried chickpeas in the middle. YUM.”

“Very quiet at times just missed out on food in the morning and there is a bit of a gap before they serve food again which was disappointing. Coffee was beautiful if I must say so. You get three hours free parking if you dine in to even if it's just a coffee just scan the QR at the bar.”

“Yes yes yes! Absolutely loved this little hidden restaurant near Sutton Sainsburys. We went when it was Rio. It was lovely and very spicy but we like it that way. Service was great and we had lots of laughs and conversation with our server. Wine was lovely and beer was cold! Fantastic”

“I drove past Love Crepe yesterday and decided to visit with my daughter today. Love Crepe was brilliant, lovely atmosphere, the food was great and the cost very reasonable. I had the brunch crepe and my daughter had the banana split crepe and they were great. I would strongly recommend. They cater for kids well and the customer service was excellent.”

“If you didn’t believe the California pub could be a fantastic venue for a wedding think again! The pub, staff, owner and managers are absolutely first class! The venue was incredible and it made for the best wedding one could ask for! The lighting, cosy warmth of the venue and the accessibility and space was incredible. The owner Isabella is such an incredible gracious soul and seriously couldn’t have made it happen without her!!! She was so accommodating and resourceful and really provided everything we needed for the big day! The venue was well equipped, staff were great and they allowed us to bring in our own items to decorate the place in the way and style we wanted too! Without any force or resistance. From the bottom of my heart I can’t thank Isabella and everyone at the California enough! All the guests had a place to park their cars. The location was great and peaceful and the venue is perfect for a small intimate wedding. Would do it all over again and twice on a Sunday if we could thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
