“The staff were very helpful and nice! The room was smaller than I expected, but it was clean. I really liked that the room had a tiny fridge and an electric water heater. The location is great! Close to Edgware road station, which allowed me to go to several touristic places easily. The restaurant options around the hotel are very diverse and I really enjoyed having close by foods from so many different cultures.”

“Excellent experience, loved the food. Had the salmon delight breakfast, it tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend it. I especially enjoyed the various cut fruits which came with the breakfast. It made the breakfast more wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable. Only thing I would suggest is the pancakes were not my favourite, maybe it didn't have much sugar in the flour mix. Don't know if that's a positive or negative thing, healthy Vs tasty. Maybe some would have a different experience with the pancakes. Also, don't need to decorate the breakfast with flowers etc, the food was excellent already so it doesn't add much apart from maybe cost to the restaurant. Overall, excellent food, lovely staff, cozy vibe, wonderful experience, would come back and highly recommend.”

“Lovely place with some of the best coffee I’ve had - intense flavour without the bitterness that a lot of the bigger coffee franchises have. Pastries+cakes looked really fresh and nice as well. Ambience is great, and the owner is highly invested and really kind to his staff. He designed everything himself, which I think is so impressive! A gem in the local area and deserves more recognition, don’t get your coffee anywhere else.”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was lovely very nicely decorated. Would definitely come again.”

The food is top quality and the room has to be seen to be believed as no 2D photo will do it justice. It is like stepping into Wonderland with Alice. The staff are lovely as well; attentive, helpful and genuinely charming. I had an early start the next day so was disturbed by the music until 1am but it is worth a little lack of sleep for the spectacular visual experience and warm welcome I received. We were a particularly difficult group, large group of 17 of us, all with complicated needs, I was overwhelmed and they were my family so god knows how they felt. But they were calm, attended to our needs, respectful when they really could have left us too it. The food was incredible, quality and quantity both great, to say we were full is an understatement, we had to take food home! Always a good sign! Fried chicken in black bean sauce was amazing, they also give lots of fried chicken thigh pieces accompanied by ginger and herb rice - I asked for the meal to be a little spicy and they kindly accommodated. Really good value for money will be coming back here again next time for sure! We ordered two plates of food the first time but really 3 people could share one plate! Had to buy takeaway containers to take the excess food home.”
