“I ordered this today off uber eats, and I must say by far this is definitely the best Aromatic duck I’ve ever tasted. Seasoned and cooked to perfection and a very large portion. Very generous with free savoury confectionary such as prawn crackers and fortune cookies, everyone loves a fortune cookie, especially this time of year! “Located right on Shepperton high street and about a 3 minute walk from the train station the cafe has all the amenities and standards you expect from a Costa. Firstly, I would like to mention the fact that as of April 2023, there is wifi, which is desperately needed as Shepperton has notoriously bad signal. Also the seats right at the back have a couple of plug sockets. So if you need to charge devices, it is possible but if it is busy you may be out of luck. There is also one single use toilet at the back that is accessible for people with disabilities. As far as cafe toilets go I found this to be pretty clean. The cafes furnished quite nicely, in line with other Costa’s, but could use a little refresh. It is nonetheless a comfy place to relax and grab a coffee for an hour or so. The staff were lovely and friendly and seemed to have a friendly rapport with many local customers, who clearly come in regularly. This was nice to see as you don’t often see this in big chains, but the quietness of Shepperton makes this possible. The food and drink were exactly what you expect of Costa, my Cappuccino was made quickly and tasted great. The Cinnamon Bun and Bakewell Tart are favourites of mine and didn’t disappoint. All in all I would definitely come back again if I found myself in the area and had a bit of time to kill. Food and beverage were of the standard you expect, all the facilities you could need, comfy atmosphere and friendly staff… not much more you could want really…”
