Livio and his team were absolutely amazing – they handled the removal of our old kitchen and the installation of the new one with such care, precision, and efficiency. Nothing was too much trouble, and the quality of their workmanship really shows. A special thank you to Julia for her excellent communication throughout the entire project. She was always quick to respond, kept us updated at every stage, and made the whole experience feel seamless. Riad truly brought our vision to life. He listened carefully to all our ideas and needs, and created a stunning bespoke kitchen that perfectly suits our space and lifestyle. Every detail was thoughtfully considered and the end result exceeded our expectations. “Absolutely loved our stay here. Every staff member could not have done more to make us feel welcome, from the reception staff to the restaurant, bar and spa staff. Room was lovely and we were allowed to change to a 4 person room (as opposed to 3) at no extra cost. We ate dinner here both nights and both times food was great and good value. I would like to tell everyone that this place is the top of the list and it’s an unbelievable good food and service and Atmosphere . “Have bought 2 chairs on 2 different occasion within the span of a year and wow! Firstly, they have an amazing assortment of chairs, parts and are the only place supplying the Atlas headrest (it’s a must!). And their support is very quick to respond with my barrage of questions. Shipping is quick and assembling the chair takes 5 mins. Well worth a look with these guys to get high quality Aerons for a nice price. :)”

“Only went in for a couple before visiting other pubs and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd never been here before so didn't really know what to expect, and this place was great! Lovely staff, good atmosphere and a decent pint of Guinness. The locals were friendly too. I'd recommend giving this place a go.”

“Like the Black Horse, this is a pub that's more of a food place than a pub, but there's a proper bar area if you're just in there for drinks. Food is good and they often have deals on. They often have entertainment on, although this is usually just a solo singer with backing tracks. The pub quiz is once a month on the first Monday of the month (although is moving to twice a month in 2026); it's a good quiz with 8 rounds of questions on a variation of subjects. Overall a decent place for the locals of Pilgrims Hatch!”

“A great little friendly pub, as legend goes apparently Dick Turpin the highway robber used to hide in the chimney, has lots of history and a quaint little pub, when we are in the area staying with friends we always go there for a drink or few, they also have a great selection of beers and drinks.”

“Took a chance which was well founded. Took a small single room for Saturday night. Had every thing you could want. 2 pillows, fan, bed, dressing table and wardrobe. Bathroom had bath and hand shower. Water hot and everything worked. All white decor, clean and tidy. Quiet room at the back of the hotel. Dinning room/bar is plain but breakfast good overlooking the street and service attentive. Loads of car parking. Very pleased.”

“Although Shaker are usually quit expensive this shop seems to be the cheapest I found so far for these types of kitchen units. Did a good 3d job on their computer of my new kitchen”

“Our amazing Tom Howley kitchen was completed today. From start to finish the whole experience has been fantastic. From the initial visit to the Brentwood showroom to the final hand painted finish. Jonathan did a superb job spending lots of time and meeting with my wife and I on several occasions to make sure we were completely happy with the design. Barry was our installer an exceptional joiner whose work is faultless. Such a skilful man who was a pleasure to have in our home. We then had Matt a really nice guy who came and helped with a few adjustments again a lovely guy. Then yesterday and today Alfie came and hand painted the kitchen to again an exceptional standard and once again a lovely guy who was a pleasure to have in our home. Finally Ian was our Ian West our Field Installation Manager and he also did his outmost to make sure we were happy communication with us throughout. I’m not sure where Tom Howley find their team of people but I can say you couldn’t ask for a nicer team of people and the finished kitchen is nothing but OUTSTANDING! Thank you Tom Howley for a truly wonderful experience. We would not hesitate in recommending Tom Howley Kitchens an easy 5 star review and a 10 out of 10. Simon & Natalie.”
