βI found this dance studio online and went for a trial session this Friday. The venue itself is easy enough to get to via Uber or public transport (a walk to St James Park UG). The people who work there couldn't have been nicer, very welcoming and knowledgeable! I met my dance instructor and we had a short intro discussion about what I'd like to learn / achieve before getting on the dance floor. The space is brilliant and the team are incredibly friendly and hospitable - I have signed up for lessons and would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to learn. Hot tip for newbies, wear flat shoes.β
βMe and my fiancΓ© took lessons with Paul here prior to our wedding. Paul was a great teacher and helped us come up with a routine and perfect this over a couple of lessons. Everyone has said they loved our first danceβ
βA massive thank you to Anna for helping us devise and nail a routine for our wedding day! She was super friendly, flexible with arranging sessions and extremely patient with two non-dancers, creating the perfect safe space for learning. We had a slightly unusual first dance song and she went above and beyond to choreograph a routine that worked perfectly. A lot of our guests were impressed with the performance and we had a ton of fun throughout the process. Thanks a million Anna!β
βI joined Jig and a swig in January and itβs the best thing Iβve done since moving to London. Jessie creates such a fun, open and welcoming environment from the first minute. She is a brilliant teacher and does this all while keeping the classes organised and running smoothly, seemingly effortlessly! The community is fantastic, full of like-minded people who also want to try something new and make friends along the way, made easier by the fact that you see them every week. There are extra events being run all of the time and so many opportunities to get involved if the weekly class isnβt enough:)β
βAdult contemporary class is the most rewarding thing I could do on Thursday evenings. Always open for experiments, fun and friendly environment. Lots of options to enjoy - either fancy warm-up, or space-filling diagonals, or new exciting choreo. And amazing opportunity to perform in front of friendly audience few times a year. I love our teacher Gemma - the most dedicated and cheerful person I ever know. Whoever wants trying - you are welcome to join a family of Sutton contemporary dancers!β
βMy son, he is 16 years old, he started attending ESDA this January. He has been learning HipHopDance since he was 8 years old in the U.S. We were looking for a cool dance school where he could use his experience and we found ESDA. We also appreciate the regular competitions, show times, and exams to measure his ability. We also appreciate the connections to event shows and the opportunity to showcase our dances at events.β
βWe are so pleased with our daughterβs growth and confidence in her ballet classes! She is constantly talking about ballet and says βmy ballet schoolβ anytime we walk past. Sheβs almost 2.5 years old and I know her classes will support her confidence in everything she does. Ms Amy is an amazing teacher and so supportive. Thank you!β
βMy daughter has grown so much confidence whilst attending Hertsmere Academy of Dance and performing arts, the staff are so lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this performing arts school if your wanting your child to learn or build on the knowledge they already have.β
βA welcoming and fun dance school, we would heavily recommend them to anyone wishing to try it out as a hobby! We started about a year ago with no experience whatsoever, and under the careful tutoring of the flow dance team through the group classes weβve already seen such improvement and had a lot of fun. A special shout out to Jan who has been absolutely excellent in our private classes, always happy to help and very knowledgable!β
βI have now been a student in Danceforce for over a year and I am so happy that I made the decision to move here when I did. I was greeted warmly from the first day of class and have enjoyed every lesson since then. Miss Lexie is incredibly hardworking and kind and has inspired me to think about teaching dance myself in the future. Miss Jennifer, Miss Christie and Miss Carol are all amazing teachers - my experiences in dance-force have really helped me grow as a person - and I couldnβt be more grateful. I could not recommend Dance force more to someone starting or moving to a new dance school. The sense of community is amazing and I genuinely look forward to coming to dance now. Thank you so much!β
βMy 6 year old daughter started ballet classes at TDS nearly 2 years ago and she'd like to sign up to her 4th weekly class from September. It goes without saying that she LOVES it! This dance school is a gem in Teddington. Natalie and her team are amazing and professional in every way. They always keep to the highest standards while teaching and guiding the kids gently and with kindness. There's a nice sense of community feel across the school where the children can feel safe and make friends. The way all the dancers - whether young or older - support each other is so lovely and heart-warming to see. The best place I have been lucky enough to find for my daughter, which I can highly recommend! Thanks TDS!!β
βShaan is an excellent instructor and is highly recommended. As a 62 year old man accompanying his wife on a birthday gift idea I was apprehensive about the idea of a beginnerβs class, not least about dancing with others. But I need not have worried. It was relaxed, structured, instructive and, above all, a good laugh. Give it a go, especially if youβre concerned about your first dance class.β
βGreat experience finding this gem of a shop and the very helpful lads that work there. My son has been searching for a yoyo, and we couldn't have picked a better place to get one. The staff showed him the best beginner option, how to use it, fit and cut the string for him, and included a little booklet of instructions and tricks. He's had it one day, and he's having loads of fun with it. Thanks to the staff for giving him such a great experience.β
βI was thoroughly impressed by the facilities at Unit3 studios. The studio is incredibly spacious, never feeling crowded. What stands out the most is the impeccable cleanliness β the floors, mirrors, and change rooms are always spotless. The sound system is high-quality, and the ventilation is excellent, so it never gets stuffy. Dancing here feels like a luxury. Itβs clear that great thought has been put into creating a comfortable and inspiring space.β
βOur children have been taking lessons with RSB for the last 9 years, and we really can't recommend them highly enough. Our daughter takes several dance classes in different disciplines which she absolutely loves. All 3 of our children also attend Starlight, their musical theatre course, which they enjoy immensely. The numerous performance opportunities the children have had has really helped them to grow in confidence and to develop life skills which sadly can't always be taught within the confines of the National Curriculum. RSB's teachers are fantastic, both in their level of expertise and their ability to nurture the children as individuals.β
βBoth my daughters have been taken classes with Dakodas and love them! Acro in particular is an amazing mix of dance and gymnastics. But the overall highlight is the end of year show, a huge production and a big treat for parents and kids alike!β
βSuch a fun class. Malika is a great teacher, she empowers you to trust your own movement in a welcoming environment. Everyone in the class is super friendly and itβs super fun while learning a lot. Thank you Malika:)β
βWe paid for wedding dance lessons with Lauren @ Kaleidoscope Dance to prepare myself and my husband for our first dance. Neither of us are dancers, and this was way out of our comfort zone, but we decided it would be fun and would break up the stressful wedding planning. We are both so pleased that we did it. We had 4 lessons with Lauren, who choreographed and taught us our dance. Lauren is bubbly and friendly, which made the lessons really enjoyable, they would always be filled with laughter. Lauren was kind and helped us improve our dancing and helped us to feel confident for the big day! Lauren was always asking for our input and wanted us to feel comfortable above all. On the day, the first dance went really well and it was the talk between all of our friends and family for a while, commenting how beautiful it was. My father commented that it was a highlight of his day and he felt very proud. We would highly recommend Kaleidoscope dance for any couples looking for somebody to choreograph and teach a first dance. Thank you Lauren :) xxβ
βMy daughter absolutely lives and breathes Inspire Dance. She has made close friends, enjoys all her classes and the standard of teaching is exceptional. The performances and competitions are amazing (as a spectator!) and she loves taking part in them. Such a variety of classes on offer. Her confidence, passion and skills have all grown in her time there. Thank you.β
βBoth our daughters have attended Shimmi Shakes for over six months now. The provision for ballet and tap dance is so impressive, and the girls look forward to the Saturday morning sessions every week. The team are wonderful and there is an amazing sense of community, with exams organised, and trips to the West End to see professional theatre as well. We couldn't be happier.β
βWelcoming, friendly and fun! There were a few absolute beginners like me in the class and within the hour we were able to move around the dancefloor and enjoy the music. Great atmosphere at the social dancing after the class. You can bring up your drinks and the bar staff will bring food orders upstairs too. Highly recommend!β
βWe had a wonderful experience with Dora when she taught us our first dance. She was extremely communicative, friendly, and made the two lessons a lot of fun! If you would like a choreographed first dance, I couldnβt recommend Dora more.β
βI havenβt looked back since I joined Forever. Richard is a genius. His teaching is excellent, second to none, itβs so absorbing, extensive and endless such as technique, balance, character of dance, turns, swivels, spirals, leading, following, the hold , posture, count, timing , hip rotation pendulum action, swing, sway , foot positioning etc covering the wide array of Latin American and Ballroom dances in International style.I am totally engrossed. Itβs of immense value to me. My friends and family have all commented that I have grown from strength to strength as a dancer in relatively short time 9 months and leaps and bounds compared to other places. Together with Jeni, I have all angles covered. Both are really attentive to the students in private classes and group classes to make sure we get it right, never taking their eyes off the ball, they donβt miss a thing. Itβs quite exceptional how they focus on men and women in equal measure. One revelation to me is learning how to dance beautifully with anyone of any experience or standard , whether an absolute beginner or an advance professional dancer. . The Gala, Cabaret and Medal Nights are so slick, setting, choreography, lighting, photography. Itβs so exciting to take part. One of the benefits of dancing, I find, is emotional and mental well-being which positively impacts all other areas of my life and which no medication can prescribe without serious side effects. The only serious side effect of this is becoming a FABULOUS DANCER.I am thrilled for myself that I am at Forever.β
βMy daughter has been attending Jam for a few years, she is extremely happy with her class, and we can really see the progress she has made. She has absolutely loved doing the shows especially the big shows in a theatre. We love all the teachers and there is nothing they wonβt do for you. Trying to manage my child social calendar is tricky, however it is made much easier with all the dates on the app. This is a win for a busy mum and an even busier child.β
βMy 5 year old loves music and every bit of dancing. Chittal is nurturing his abilities and helping him groom in to a trained dancer.thanks to dance n beats for the efforts.highly recommend.β
βMy 9 years old daughter has had the best few years training with Katie Cox Dance Studio. She started with just ballet but her love of dance grew and now she does tap, lyrical, acro and jazz too! She has flourished in such a nurturing environment and made some amazing friends. She loves her teachers and is always so happy when we are on the way to lessons. The effort that goes into each child to bring the best out of them is amazing and all the students really cheer each other on and celebrate each otherβs achievements. Both students, teachers and parents come together to put on amazing events and shows. I canβt wait to see what else Katie Cox Dance Studio can do over the next few years!β
βOne of the friendliest, most inclusive, delightful studio's I've ever trained at. Avid customer of many years. The owners make everyone welcome, the instructors adapt for all levels, body types, and neurodiversity. A place of absolute love and happiness - I can't recommend enough.β
βItβs such a lovely ballet dance school, professional and fun. My daughter loves going there. Miss India and other teachers( forgot names..) are amazing. They bring so much joy to the class while ensuring the children learning ballet dance. Highly recommend.β
βI highly recommend Arthur Murray Dance Studios at 77 Baker Street, London W1U 6RF, for anyone eager to learn how to dance professionally. A heartfelt thank you to Beverly for her kindness, patience, and clear guidanceβshe explained everything with such grace and professionalism, making the experience both fun and unforgettable.β
βMy children love Bethanyβs classes, they have attended the weekly classes and today they went to the holiday workshop. Bethany and her team are so good with the children and everyone has such a good time. Itβs amazing how quickly they learn the routines for the show at the end and how confident they are performing.β
