“L'Atelier is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in SW London! I can't believe I haven't visited earlier. My friend from Denmark came over and I wanted to take her somewhere special. We were a few mins late which was no trouble for owner Philip who greeted us with a warm smile. I wasn't drinking and he made us the most exquisite mocktails. We shared scallops and green lentils and a chicken tagine with couscous and since it was January, just poured over the dessert menu, vowing to return when we were keen to satisfy our sweet tooth. If there's one restaurant you try in the Balham, Wandsworth, Tooting area, try L'Atelier on Trinity Road - the vibe as soon as you step in is so chilled and Philip and Mona (who I later had the pleasure to learn is the Chef and Philip's wife) are the loveliest hosts. It's like we were transported to a little piece of Moroccan heaven for a couple of hours.”

“Well what can I say. I brought Dodger here for the first time this morning, upon entering we were greeted by the receptionist/cafe worker, nikki I think? She was absolutely lovely, very welcoming, booked us in. She was very attentive to Dodger. Emma the groomer came through, and she was so bubbly, friendly and explained the procedure as it was Dodgers very first grooming experience. He was so happy to walk away with emma, after 5 minutes (Nikki?) Gave me a update, and said Dodger is very happy and is giving cuddles to everyone. The cafe area is small and intimate but clean welcoming and I had a lovely coffee. After the treatment Dodger came out so happy, and was treated to a doggy ice cream! He didn't want to leave the shop! Thank you all so much for a brilliant first treatment, we will definitely be back Dodger smelt absolutely wonderful. His paws and leg hair is exactly how we wanted it. Thank you once again!!!!!!”

Very good coffee, it's been a long time since I enjoyed it so much... The white chocolate makes my mouth water, I could easily eat twelve pieces in one go... Service is the way it used to be: caring and making up for any mistake in the proper old fashion. Owner is a wonderful gentleman that really cared for his business and goes the extra mile to please and make you happy. My complain lately in most of restaurants is the amount of spicy food, even in Mediterranean food (not so much used in it). There is still a large population who doesn't like or can't eat spicy food (not even black pepper!) Better on the side instead of in the food. Anyhow, it was a wonderful experience. Totally recommend it.”
