With so many chain restaurants around these days this place is a really good independent alternative, highly recommend you try this place next time you fancy noodles or rice in Croydon!”

“I had an amazing experience at Nando’s thanks to Vinnie! From the moment I walked in, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He made sure everything was perfect – checking in during the meal, recommending great menu items, and even making sure our order came out just right. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great customer experience. It’s rare to see service with such a personal touch. “Wow!! My second time here and I absolutely love the food and the lovely staff. I travelled 40 mins and I am not disappointed at all. Food fresh and cooked properly , we even got a free cake. We spent £30 for 2 large meals with rice , plantain and coleslaw , a large side of fried fish , 2 dumplings and drinks. All this for £30 and cooked perfectly in 2025 ?? You won’t find a better place than here. You definitely need to come here!! We couldn’t even wait to get home we ate in the car right in front of the shop lol.”

“Went here for a birthday dinner and wasn't expecting a good time due to the current circumstances, but we was pleasantly surprised. We were seen promptly, and was greeted by staff who were positive and making us laugh constantly. The food came quite speedily, and was cooked to great standards, especially the ribs and the burger. The service and delivery was spot on. Will definitely recommend. Special shout-out to Shannen who was an amazing waiter.”

“Little Taiwan with its vibrancy and sense of welcoming soft and peaceful atmosphere in the middle of modern glass and concrete environment. I highly recommend its place for its character, service and of course food! We have ordered all vegetarian dishes and were well fed with beautifully served on a plate very tasty, authentic food! My son and myself have had an impression that we have been lucky to be a guest at some Taiwanese family home and were pampered with a well cooked home food! I promise you, you will not regret a minute when you decided to give BaoBao place a try! If you will order from them a delivery, you will get it all beautifully packed and a smiling cat will definitely cheer you up!”

“I had an incredible experience at El Patio Spanish Tapas Restaurant tonight! The staff made us feel truly special, and meeting them added a personal touch to our evening. The food was out of this world, especially the chicken – the best I've tasted in years, reminiscent of my time in Spain. “Great experience wine tasting with my partner and some friends and family for our first wedding next year! Ryan and James were really friendly and there were options laid out for us ready to go when we arrived. Ryan led us through the tasting expertly and was able to answer all of our questions. We were able to purchase great red, rose, white and prosecco options for the big day. Would definitely recommend!”

“My secret to a perfect day: double egg, bacon,onion and mushroom sandwich with a drizzle of brown sauce...The two brothers are proud in what they do - hard to find these days... and ask for runny eggs. My mouth is watering while typing although I just had a toasted BLT(on the diet - new years resolution. Still asked to throw a runny egg in it.)”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“Me and my friend came into the cafe for breakfast, not expecting it to be any more than a greasy spoon. We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a gem. The place itself is big and modern and very clean. The staff were so polite and helpful and the food was yummy and very reasonably priced. I will be becoming a real regular here.”

“The best Chinese take away in Croydon. The flavours are amazing, portion sizes match the price also. The customer service is great. Also you can pay by card unlike a lot of Chinese takeaways in the area. My go to is a Kong pow king prawn with special fried rice.”

“Lovely play cafe.. there are 2 different soft play area for kids to play in… Have never seen my 13 month old enjoy his day this much. It wasn’t too busy too which I like because my child can easily get overstimulated sometimes. Very attentive staff too. I forgot to ask for her name but we will defo come back more often for sure x”
