“This pub has it all: nice bar with an above average selection of beers and cider on tap, bar snacks to full meals, quiet conversation area and sports on TV, outdoor covered seating or garden, a dart board and a children's play area. Nicely decorated with photos of the area 60-70 years ago and bookshelves. The friendly staff make it a very welcoming place, with a fun atmosphere. On site parking makes it an easy choice.”

“My boyfriend and I had dinner here this weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The spice level and flavours were perfectly balanced. You can choose the level of spice you want for any curry too. The service was warm, personal and friendly, with perhaps a little training needed, as we waited a while to be asked for drinks and for our order to be taken after being served our lovely poppadoms. I also would recommend their chicken balls and their special fried rice. I have found their food to be delicious.
