The staff was very friendly and kept me updated with my car Mot, as it failed little bits here and there. I approved for them to repair what's was necessary to have a PASS and it was an excellent service. The team were amazing and for my surprised my extra pay for the "failed jobs" was very reasonable priced. I would high recommend Halfords Hamwell . We emailed them on the Sunday and got a reply the morning of the monday and a same day appointment. All of the staff were very kind and efficient. “Seamless experience. I arrived earlier than my booked appointment but they managed to squeeze me in early instead of making me wait, which I really appreciated. The receptionist was very well presented, professional and well informed. The employee performing the test was very gentle and delicate with my nostrils. The results arrived very early in the morning of the day after the test was taken. I was very scared by the bad reviews I read after I booked, and I am now very pleased to give them a 5 star review, tell my friends about it and use their services again in the future. “I had a New Ford Puma that was getting stone chips every time I took the vehicle out. I have had plenty of New Fords but never had anything like this. Less than 2000 miles, not driven on the motorway at high speeds, yet I had 8 chips on the bonnet and 2 on the drivers door. The team at C&D established it was a fault with the base layer of the paint and then helped me get Fords to cover the cost of a new bonnet (big thanks Paul Stokoe ) and a partial respray under warranty. Without their help I would have had to part pay for the repair (£600). They risked losing a lot of Ford business just to help me. They really went above and beyond. I am a pretty fussy customer (40 years as an automotive engineer) but what a superb job they did. A perfect match and now 17000 miles and 18months later the only chips I have are on the only panels they did not repair. I highly recommend them, whilst I hope I never need them again, it is good to know they are there if I do!”
