“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Megan’s is a lovely place with a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel comfortable straight away. The setting works perfectly for families, friends, couples, and even pets, which makes it really special. We came in for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food — fresh, tasty, and well presented. A special mention to Kaveri, whose cheerful and attentive service made our visit feel happy and relaxed. The little goodbye surprise at the end was a nice touch and definitely made us want to return.”

“Very nice Thai food in a slightly quieter street in Kingston. We were the first people in on a Saturday evening, so the service was very prompt and friendly. We ordered Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken and plain Jasmine Rice — along with a Tiger Lager and some Jasmine Tea. Pad Thai was very nice, with not much spice, and they did give you the option to add heat with chilli flakes which were on the side of the plate. The grilled chicken had lovely flavour with nice crispy bits of skin, but the salad was fairly spicy. Definitely recommend if you're into Thai or other Asian cuisines.”

“I recently had a wonderful takeout experience from Chicken World. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection with a crispy coating and tender meat. The wings were equally delicious, with well-balanced flavors. Every bite was a delightful combination of savory goodness. “I rate 5 star for the service as all the staff are fantastic, 5 stars for the lovely cakes, but sadly, only a 1 star for the atmos/ambience because the new owners, I believe, decided to remove the beautiful piano that I used to adore playing there. Also it was linked to constant background piano notes, cleverly playing out of the piano while no one played it. That really was quite relaxing and unique whilst enjoying the food and cakes, and after my weekly office job , I would look forward to my visits there at the weekends to unwind and sometimes play.. A great hub and centrepiece has been ripped out of the heart of the cafe. It blended in very well and also was a fine backdrop against the old churchyard opposite through the tall windows. I just was preparing my Xmas carols repertoire and some more new lyrics when I visited there last Saturday, but my piano was gone!”

“Kevin and his son Adam are the best. Did an immaculate job with my kitchen 9 years ago and never had any problems. Recently had a faulty hinge and no questions asked they replaced it for free after 9 years! Best service ever. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough, still get lots of compliments for our kitchen especially the custom built floor to ceiling cabinets!!”

“This place is fantastic. Vietnamese food in general is one of my favourite cuisines, and this place encapsulates that at a very very decent and affordable price. If this place stayed open later I would probably find myself having this waaay to much, and I think it'd end up being a borderline addiction. With the market closing at 5, I often miss it, so I only get it once or twice every few weeks. Massively recommend this place, even above the Pho restaurant just around the corner which charges alot more!”

“Brilliant local independent family run, proper old skool pub for drinkers. I'm lucky to live right opposite. Great atomosphere, always friendly. Nice seating area at the front. Very reasonable prices. Try it out! There is no food here, but some snacks and small bites sometimes. Now has a nice garden area at the back.”

“A little gem. Went here last night very friendly nice lady serving us we decided to have the Korean hot pot as we had never tried before and sounded really nice. We had to move tables as all are not equipped with heat for the hot pot but it wasn’t an issue. The food came quick and tasted absolutely delicious. On top of that it was pretty good value for money. A nice little place with nice staff and amazing food what more could you ask for. Will definitely be going back.”

“We order the large pizza, you can half and half of different types. We had it to take away, but you can order and get delivered or dine in. Really noce and authentic Italian pizza. The dough was thin and ingredients were great quality. The place looked clean and service was very kind. Hopefully next time we'll be dining in. Highly recommend the pizza.”

“Food was awesome with mostly authentic Nepalese food, they also had a wide variety of options to have. They open around 6:00-7:00pm and close at 10:30pm, great for a dinner date and food usually takes 20mins to 1H depending on how much you order, atmosphere was great with sculptures behind glass and photos on the walls, staff where also lovely.”

I’m an Indian from gujraat I’ve been brought up on Indian food and this is the closest takeout I’ve had that matches my mums cooking! I cannot commend this place enough! I had the Aloo parata and bher and vada pau. Everything was impeccable and perfect. I will 1000% be ordering from this place again. Sadly my mum isn’t with me so I just wanna thank you guys for making this amazing tasty food! “Delicious anchovy, caper pizza served at comfy sofa seat in cinema accompanied by cool Cornish cider- what a treat! Interesting eating in the dark so employ taste over visual. Therefore no criticism as per last review of whether the topping reached the edge etc. it just tasted great! Agree thin base, which suits me as not a fan of thick heavy dough - topping is best bit!
