“The staff were very friendly and helpful. I learnt to ski as a beginner many years ago here. It's a great place to revise skiing skills in preparation for a holiday. There is a beginner and advanced slope. I think that the recreational skiing rate is very reasonable. The facilities do look a bit tired but they're functional and work! I liked the fact that they had an electronic calendar which meant you could change your booking last minute.”

“We visited Rust Bucket Pizza Co and were very impressed with the food. The pizza is some of the best I've tasted and had perfect air bubbles in the bread. We had a pizza with a burrata on it, what a treat, also a pepperoni which was delicious. The kids pizza was also very nice. The restaurant is in a covered outdoor area of the pub however the quality of pizza more than makes up for this. There is access to the pub and the pub garden with a play area. The play area and garden is only suitable for older toddlers+ due to being unkept. The service was reasonably good and the reception was very welcoming. If this setup was in a restaurant and not attached to a ropey pub I would have happily given it a five star rating.”

“What a lovely place! We are here on a Tuesday evening so very quiet. We have stayed for 3 drinks and decided to try the food. Onion bhajis are light and crispy. The green chilli chicken is spicy. SPICY and I am here for it even though it made my tongue numb. The Gunter chicken has a delicious sauce and the bread is fab!
