“Great little pub in among so many big pubs, nice to find a more traditional style place to have a pint. That said, you can get amazing Thai food AND they have a pizza shack out the back which does brilliant pizzas - with gluten free options.”

“You MUST eat upstairs at the Gun hosting Rake. Their modern twist on English dish’s was perfect. We got the small plates to share and they were really well sized. The cockles, sardines and chicken were particularly amazing and the desserts too. The staff are also fantastic and accomodating and the vibe and atmosphere gives small French bistro which topped it all off.”

“Great selection of ales , ciders and beer . Take away service as well so you can continue your quality drinking at home . Couple of weeks before we are allowed inside but they have an area at the front and around the back for outside drinking Excellent service . Highly recommended for the ales and cider connoisseur..”

“I love this pub alot, great owner/bar staff, great atmosphere, old fashioned with beams n' all, fireplace, nice garden, a pool table and a jukebox. My only complaint is that there isn't a free cash machine in there because its cash only, I have to go to the local tesco just to get some out and have a drink”

“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. “A restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai fare. The two of us were stuffed with one appetizer, a meat dish and a bowl if rice. Didn't check the wine list but soft drinks are pretty affordable. Dishes were served hot and freshly prepared. The server kindly offered chopsticks yet it was a little inconvenient to use with plates not bowls. One thing worth noting was that the heater wasn't strong enough to warm us up - girls sitting next table needed to cover their knees with coats.”

“An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.”

“Went for brunch on Sunday without a reservation. Had to wait for about 10-15 Mon for a table for 4 but all worth it. Had smashed avocado and American pancakes, my other half had pulled pork. “Wonderful calming atmosphere - nice furniture, good lighting, Classic FM gently playing. But not the place to go if you're in a rush! I visited a couple months ago and will return soon. The owner makes lovely strong coffee (I had the macchiato, so I'm sure there are gentler brews!) and takes great care in making sandwiches to order. He's an elderly guy so he's quite slow, but I didn't mind at all. And all for such a low price that I forgot I was even in London!!”

“Nice cafe first time using it and food was decent price , toilets availible aswel. Food was very nice , cafe was clean no greasy smell as you walk in , it was nice and fresh , the only reason its not 5star is because the tea wasnt that good i think maybe cheap tea bags , better tea would be better it was very weak like dish water unfortently. But very nice food and very nice cafe and decent prices. Free wifi if u need it and also free parking outside for 1 hour.”
