“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“The best Chai latte I've ever had. Perfect temperature, perfectly made and tasted amazing! The atmosphere and vibe of the cafe is beautiful and would be a great place to come and do some work as there are plenty of plug sockets. I didn't get to try any food because the kitchen closes at 2.30pm I believe, but it's probably very good. Staff are also really nice and friendly and will bring your drink over to you if you are having it in. Definitely going to come back here! Highly recommend!”

“Great selection, and having ordered multiple times, I can say that the food is always very good in terms of quality, quantity and value for money. Friendly delivery people too. Only issue I have had (and not just once) is with the timed order function on the website. On one occasion, it arrived 90 minutes early and I had to send it back - we simply weren’t ready because we were in the middle of some DIY (which is why I ordered it for a set time). It’s happened since, albeit not with such an extreme difference between the time for which I requested delivery and the time food arrived. I’ve defaulted to just ordering later in the evening so that the delivery time is broadly the one I’d have chosen if the timed order function could be relied on. Like I say, that is the only gripe - just something of which to be aware if you’re someone that likes to place timed orders.”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. Thank you for a lovely evening”

“The store has reopened on Thursday following closure for a refurbishment. The store has opened with additional car parking spaces, newly installed self checkouts and an updated modernised layout. “If I could I would give everything ten stars! Came here last night as we had a voucher to use and boy was we not disappointed! From sitting out on the decking, to the wonderful food, to the excellent staff it was just a joy from start to finish. The waitress staff was superb with their politeness, knowledge of the food and always smiling! So thank you very much to Anna and Megan - you have two wonderful members of staff there! Thank you also to Luke who was everything you should expect from a front of house manager. You three made our experience even better! Only one small complaint I would say the bottles of coke should be bigger. £5 is quite excessive for a 200ml bottle of coke and pretty high considering I know how much a case costs. We have already recommended to our friends and can’t wait to come back!”
