“I have been visiting Funky Medusa for almost a year now and I LOVE IT!! First I started to go because it was just round the corner from me but now i am sure I will come back for all the services even if i move to another location. They are so clean, so professional and always so polite. I always ask for Hilda as she has the lightest hands and does waxing super smoothly. “I tend to follow Gareth where he is working as he is incredible. And after having a very bad bleaching experience at a different salon (I was too impatient - bigregret) , I returned to Gareth who has begun a hair repair journey for me. He fixed my colour to make it look much more natural and fit tape extensions to help blend in the broken sections as well as applying keratin treatment. I’ve learnt my lesson and will not be going anywhere else again! On top of his incredible skills and conversation, the canary itself is such a welcoming salon. I’m not a huge fan of the sometimes ‘ clinical’ feel of salons, but here feels relaxed and friendly. I love the fact it has a cafe also meaning and endless supply of coffee during your hair appointment!”

“Roche Bobois has high quality furnitures designed in France. They are made to order and fully customizable. We met Amélie, who gave us great advices and we were able to find our dream table. She was on top of things and took time during her days off to follow on some of our requests. This type of service and high quality comes with a price of course but they last a lifetime.”

“I went on monday to get a navel piercing and Rick was the best! He explained to me everything that he was going to do, he kept everything clean and sterilized and he even showed me that the needle and the plank were closed before using them. He was so so nice and it’s clear that he’s a professional. I’m so happy with my experience there, I definitely recommend it and I would come back if I weren’t from Spain.”

“Very cute and underrated Japanese restaurant run by a lovely Japanese couple. They only have 8 seats which means prior booking is required. The food is freshly made by the husband as his wife takes the orders and serves. Their fish are all super fresh and tasty, you’d be able to tell the difference immediately. My favourite has got to be their double decker unagi bowl and seared salmon nigiri which is amazing. A must try if you’re in the neighbourhood!”

“Lovely food here. Nice atmosphere with great food. The beef short rib was very soft and tender, the loaded chips with pulled beef was great and very unique to all others I have tried. The lamb shank roast was great too. The chefs know what they are doing. Its fully halal too, with no alcohol.”

“I booked a table for our work Christmas dinner. The restaurant was very booked but Copper Ceylon was so accommodating trying to get us a table. Everyone commented on how lovely the food and restaurant was and I think everyone in our party will go back. The only slight issue was how loud it was, it was very difficult to hear each other, however this was down to the Christmas period and how full the restaurant was and no reflection on the ambience on a normal day. Is so nice to have such a great place in Bromley that is run by lovely people and very reasonable with cost too.”

Felt like eating home cooking in Jamaica (which I’ve had a fair bit of!) and authentic rather than alot of places that are bland; the jerk had a kick, perfect! “Having known Arjun the chef from Everest and other places then to hear he is at dragons lounge so since then have been coming to DL for the last year. This weekend they hosted a party of 60 of us and from start to finish Arjun and his colleagues have been brilliant. They catered for all our needs and even last minute changes they didn’t get upset about. The food was exceptional. Chilli Garlic Mogo, aloo papdi chaat to the mains veg tawa etc I have had numerous messages from family members saying the food was great and that they all had a great time. Thank you all at DL for making it a great event. Keep up the great work.”

“Stopped here during my last day of London and I decided to stop by as the Dishoom restaurants was highly recommended to try in London and London is known for phenomenal Indian food. This place did not disappoint! Okra fries were nice and crisp, charred lamb chops were great, and the chicken ruby had great flavour with a good spice kick. Service was excellent as the waitress took her time to explain the menu and the best way to order and to put combinations of meals together as their menu can get complicated. Definitely should book a reservation ahead of time, we went in at 4pm and it was not really busy.”

“Manthan completely changed the way I think about Indian food. Their £30 Festive Linner is incredible value — six well-executed dishes with Michelin-level finesse. The Ghati Masala Prawns and Buttermilk Chicken were standout starters, and the Tulsi Chicken Chop was beautifully grilled. Both mains were flavourful and comforting, especially with the dal, rice and paratha on the side. Service was warm, and the peacock-blue townhouse setting in Mayfair feels elegant without being pretentious. A fantastic spot for refined Indian dining at a very reasonable price.”

“Tucked away along a quiet stretch of the Regents Canal in Islington’s eastern edge, Caravel is a great kitchen offering wonderful meals in a cozy canal boat. The dining room is big enough to accommodate quiet couples sharing a romantic dinner or a small group having a festive night out. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but they are serving generous portions of exquisitely prepared food. Excellent service too.”

“I liked them, and Greek food they serve! I have been there twice, the first one we went with mezzes and the second one with main dishes. I loved each time the food I tried! I especially liked baked feta cheese pastry, which was nice with thin dough. I also liked the kofte (meatball) I tried yesterday evening. Although they serve Greek food, the staff is not Greek and there are non-Greek dishes on the menu. It’s located close to St Pancras/King’s Cross, quite central and easy to walk from the station. The staff is nice and kind, they serve really nice. In the last time, we did not have a res and just walked in; the guy was so kind in preparing a table for us right away. The food is good and nicely prepared and I would say the portions are big anough as well. It’s a good value for quality and moderate pricing. Highly recommended!”
