I have been using them for 4 years now and my 2003 Mercedes-Benz ‘C’ Class C180K SE Coupe has never driven so well. Great attention and communication from Magic and his wife Monika plus their prices are very reasonable. The other day I had an alternator/battery red warning light issue and as I was close by, I called Magic and he said “Come right over before your battery goes flat” and upon diagnosis an exchange Bosch alternator was ordered and fitted the same afternoon. I highly recommend them.”

“Cannot rate them highly enough! Having only owned Audi or BMW before, I was anxious about finding a reliable specialist near me for my first Mercedes. I found MercServices from google and decided to go with them based on their reviews. And safe to say they didn’t disappoint. My newly purchased CLK 350 was recently serviced and was only in need of an oil change and a fix for a squealing and weak parking brake. I also had a lot of general queries about CLKS and Mercedes. I spoke to Luke on the phone and he happily answered all of my questions to great detail. The oil change was carried out well and the parking brake only needed an adjustment. They also cleared out some historic engine diagnostic codes and gave the whole car a thorough inspection. I arrived just 20 minutes before the shop closed to collect my car and mentioned an issue I had with the clock of the car on the dash which could not be adjusted as the old navigation system removed. Luke instantly told me he would give it a go. While it didn’t work out because a CD was needed to do this and the shop was about to close, I highly rate their helpful and professional attitude. To summarise, In all my interactions with them, they were extremely professional, transparent and helpful. It’s clear that they know Mercedes cars inside out and their premises are also top notch. “I've recently moved to the area and as there are so many MOT garages, I wasn't sure where to go so I took a gamble on Chequers and what a brilliant choice I made. As a female, I'm not 100% with cars but I'm no newbie either and have been to many places who have tried me but Chequers, a lovely family owned business, took care of my car and thoroughly checked it over. Recently went to have my clutch replaced in my car and the turnaround and advice they gave me was second to none. Also recently had my light bulbs in my car replaced and they were able to fix it and point out that the holder was snapped off which is why the light couldn’t be secured properly into place and offered me a solution (something all other mechanics and Halfords I’ve went to have missed!)”

“CMW hero’s I have just had a VW Golf serviced at one of the local dealerships. They reported that one of the seat belts was stuck. When I collected the car the adapter for the dog lead was stuck, it has a number of attachments and the wrong one had been used, they refused to accept responsibility and we left. We went straight to CMW to desperately ask for some help, my wife was ferrying around our daughter and her brides maids the following day looking for a wedding dress and needed all the seats. One of the guys had a look, tried and tried to release the seat belt and after a lot of determination and skill managed to get the dog lead adapter free. We are so grateful and cannot thank them enough.”

“No question about it, Stewart is the best motorcycle mechanic I have come across in over 40yrs of riding. Im laughing at the 1 star review who complained about him using ACF-50, I mean, how many mechanics you know use that on a bike?! Stewart doesn’t simply work on a bike, he cares for the bike, and every single nut, bolt, washer and spring with equal diligence. His knowledge is unmatched and his enthusiasm infectious. Stewart is a highly skilled craftsmen who will save you both time and money by knowing exactly what he is doing and doing it properly, first time. There are very few techs left who have worked on bikes since the 80’s and Stewart needs protecting at all costs given his knowledge and experience (which he shares freely to anyone) His labour rate is actually remarkably cheap, but that is slightly irrelevant given the encyclopedic knowledge and care that you as a client and your bike are getting. A billion times better than any BMW, Audi or Mercedes service centre for sure. If you are looking for the best real motorcycle mechanic in the UK, you have found him.”
