“Visited for the first time whilst visiting the area for the Hampton Court flower show. Very clean restaurant with a relaxing vibe. Helpful and friendly waiter who also held the door open for us when we left. Fresh, tasty and flavoursome food- perfect sized portions. I couldn’t decide between a 4 star or 5 star review, it would actually be a 4.5 star review if that was possible. As the fried rice with chicken was the best I’ve ever had I finally decided on a 5 star review. Worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“Had my son's 5th birthday party here and him and his friends were having a blast. The trampoline area is big but not too overwhelming, several staff members were looking after everyone for safety reasons. The UV party room was excelent, the kids were all delighted. The food was fresh and tasty, the pizza was warm and delicious. The staff member was attentive and helpful in the room. I wish I took her name to put it here. We're all felt very well looked after and not rushed at all even if we passed our 30 minutes time in there. Thank you! We will be coming back!”

“I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.”

My wife was injured on the way to The Bear, and we couldn’t have been met with more kindness and care. The staff went above and beyond, and Tracy was an absolute gem—warm, genuine, and made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. This stay really highlighted the contrast with one of the sister hotels we visited, which lacked the same warmth and charm. It’s our second time at The Bear—we stayed last year, and although my wife was initially hesitant about staying in a pub setting, she ended up loving it so much that it topped her list for this year’s trip. We noticed several subtle improvements since our last visit—small touches that really add up and elevate the overall experience. It’s clear that care and attention to detail are a priority here. If we had one minor complaint, it would be the limited parking, but it’s a small trade-off for such a welcoming and comfortable stay. Top rated—we’d love to return again.”

“We couldn't recommend Little Sparrows nursery/pre-school highly enough. Our son settled instantly and absolutely loves his nursery days, we have such confidence in all of the staff who look after him. We are given lots of information about his day and activities he has taken part in daily. The staff are attentive, they work to such high standards and are so supportive to both the children and families. They go above and beyond and always give us their time. We truly couldn't think of a better place for our son; we know he is in the safest environment and thriving and we are so thankful to have such a brilliant, caring nursery for him.”

Working in the studio with Trackman helps immensely as he can see the visual graphics and data on what's happening to his swing and ball flights. Oli works very well with kids, he finds him a relax and chilled teacher!”

Her willingness to put herself out there has grown so much that she requested a speaking part with a medium amount of lines in the next upcoming show. “The community rebuilt this park cafe and it is an excellent facility enjoyed by everyone who uses the park and Claygate Primary School. On a sunny weekend you will see many groups and families playing games, having fun, eating ice creams, with drinks etc. Food gets 4 stars only because it is not Michelin starred.”
