My car broke down on Monday afternoon and Purley Garage not only set me up with a speedy recovery (I was stranded with my toddler - shout out to Road Home recovery), but also fixed the clutch and rear shock absorbers the next day. “Been here before to pick up just avocado maki; this time I was in a rush so explained this to the shop owner who was professional and polite, said he could make me up a sushi box in the 10 mins I had if I chose quickly. After changing my choice a couple of times he was patient enough to go with it and I settled on the Omega Box (8 Salmon & Avocado Rolls, 6 Salmon Maki, 6 Avocado Maki) which came with soya sauce, wasabi paste (firmer and drier than usual sushi box wasabi, possibly better quality?) - with a 10% takeaway discount it came to £11.69. Sushi rice was room-temperature (as best enjoyed), well-seasoned and good texture, fresh-tasting fish and avocado, with a good amount of filling in the salmon & avocado rolls; really enjoyed and plan to return!”

“Actually so confused about the bad reviews. I ordered before looking at them - saw the bad reviews as food was en route and had a bit of a panic. The food was hot upon arrival, flavoursome and didnt inflict any sort of food poisoning- and I have a VERY weak stomach when it comes to food related illnesses. Again, flabbergasted at the bad reviews- 10/10 would order again!”
