“I can't comment on the food as we out sourced the food. I hired out the function room for my husbands 30th recently, (had come recommended) and the Surrey arms team did not disappoint! The staff were attentive and helpful throughout the night, and leading up when I had questions. I can't remember the name of the 2 ladies on shift that evening, (Friday 20th oct) but I want to say a huge thank you! My husband had the best night, and everyone commented on what a great venue it is!! I think one of the ladies that work there is Beth? She was able to help out while we decorated on the Friday afternoon, and she was always there to answer any questions also leading up to the party! I can't recommend this venue enough. Their DJ is great too! Thank you surrey arms for such a great night!”

“The friendliest pub i've ever been to in London! Not 5 minutes into entering the building the bartender and other patrons began chatting with us about the history of the pub and its regulars, immediately welcoming us to their little family. Everyone knows everyone and the environment feels so warm and familiar it's more akin to chatting with friends in your living room than strangers in a bar (For my fellow Boston residents it was like witnessing an episode of Cheers in real time). Can't wait to go back!”

“Amazing small business that I have been going too for eyebrow threading for over 5 years. The staff there really look after you they listen to your request with care and my brows always look amazing and their prices are very good. I also got a wax there for the first time in my life I was very nervous since I have sensitive skin and have been shaving for a very long time and get a lot of razor bumps. I went on my holiday embracing my bikini area, it never looked better! Pritta ( if that’s how you spell her name) looked after me. She was so patient with me as I was in pain due to the fact that it was my first time but honestly she made it as pain free as possible I couldn’t thank her enough for the treatment and we also had a laugh. I will deffo be back for a wax Thank you she beauty for your service.”

“I have just had a repair done to my car - the service I received was excellent, I was kept updated all the way. Kayleigh was fabulous and so patient with me and trust me I do rattle on lol. I would recommend this company to anyone. They even cleaned my car both inside and out before it was brought home - yes they do come and collect your car! Repair was A+”

“Booked the beer garden last minute for my husband's surprise birthday party and everyone had the best time! The beer garden is a fab spot on a sunny day and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to decorate the area we booked in advance, stored our cake, and checked in throughout the afternoon/evening to make sure everything was going to plan. The food, especially the sliders, went down a treat. Would highly recommend for any parties/big group gatherings! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“I ordered the chicken pizza and grilled peri peri chicken from Wings Cottage, both were superb. The peri peri chicken wings, with jalapeños, onions, and flavorful sauce, was a standout. The pizza had a crispy crust and fresh vegetables, making it one of the best and prices are completely cheap compared to other places. The shop is very neat and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parking is easily available nearby. Highly recommended.”

We asked jalfrezi vindaloo hot, and it was exactly that, nice spices with green chillies and not like other places where they dump tons of chilli powder just because you asked for extra hot. Thanks!
