Exploring in Wembley

“We went here for a meal before seeing Simply Red at Wembley Ovo Arena. Easy parking in pre booked areas, we were in the Red Block. We had also pre booked the restaurant section upstairs at the pub and I'm glad we did as it was very busy. You can also eat in the bar area downstairs though. A lovely old pub, well decorated and lots of space upstairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered at the bar and the food came out fairly quickly and it was delicious. The pate starter was really delicious and I thought the food was well above the usual pub standard. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. Some lovely ladies a few tables down, gave us their olives as they didn't like them and I liked the way Simply Reds music was played in the background, tying our meal to the Arena gig. I would definately eat there again if I was visiting the arena.”

“Clean, quiet, and amazing employees. We loved this hotel all 6 nights that we were there. I would definitely stay there again. And the grocery store basically right under it was also nice. You should definitely consider staying in here in ealing if visiting London. It is a charming town with extremely easy access to the city.”

“Had a great meal here. For £15 a head with soft drinks we had more food than we could eat. (no alcohol available) Enjoyed the thali, samosa, bread pakora. It was basically all good. Bread are freshly cooked to order Really friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Only negative is the plastic trays used for the thalis, would love metal trays”

“Hotel Xanadu is a Lovely & Stylish hotel with a nice bar and wonderful staff. It is well located in Ealing Broadway, close to the Picturehouse and tube station. Very easy to get to from Euston and not expensive at all. Highly Recommended”

“We had a pleasant stay at the Ibis hotel, very close to public transport and leisure activity centre. Also a large parking to choose from, so no issue coming here by car. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and a good reception area The rooms were cleaned very well by Gogu and Mariana, so thank you to them. Only beware the bathrooms are rather small, but otherwise would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.”

“This was my first time being in Croydon and surprisingly this store had just opened. So i went in for a look as i needed a new sofa for in the house. Got myself a brand new sofa and it sooo comfy. Staff were really helpful and the delivery man was great! Carried it up two sets of stairs as i live in a flat”

“We stayed here for a concert at Wembley Stadium. Really good check-in and out times, perfect to charge your phones and yourself before heading off, and then you don't need to check out until 11 am. There's no breakfast, but that didn't bother us as we just went to the McDonald's which is on the way back to Wembley Park Station, and I'm told there's a great cafe open Monday to Saturday within a few minutes walk. We were given a great room, very quiet, extremely comfortable beds and a lovely big shower. Loads of space and will definitely stay again next time we have a concert.”

Migma & Indu made it so special for her by bringing out a Brownie with a birthday candle & singing happy birthday to her. He took such thoughtful care of the children, even surprising them with pancakes decorated with a heart in the middle—a beautiful touch that made them feel truly seen. The food was fresh, varied, and delicious, with something for everyone. The service throughout was warm, attentive, and family-friendly. Staff were kind, patient, and clearly cared about creating a positive experience. Clean, welcoming atmosphere and a team that goes the extra mile- Highly recommended! “Never been to this Travelodge before but I’ve stayed in many and this one is a good position, close to the end of the M1. It’s a little convoluted to get here, certainly if you’re coming down from the M1 but Google is your friend so just follow her directions and she will guide you in. There is parking…..yes you heard right, there is parking at the rear of the Hotel and I had no problem, even with the big Audi. The parking registration computer was broken so Erica the receptionist explained and gave me a form. Special mention about Erica, she was lovely and explained about breakfast, which I had booked. There was a large party in so advised I get down PDQ after 0800 to get a fuss free sitting. She sorted me a room which was on the opposing side of the hotel to the train line which runs at the back of the car park and I guess could be noisy in the night. I got into 208 on the second floor and it was the same as normal, boring but familiar, which as a business customer, is exactly as you would wish. The room was clean, tidy and well set out. I love that there are USB sockets x4 although maybe 2 could be USBc if I was being picky. Overall the room was great. I didn’t give it 10 out of 10 because there were a couple of things which let it down somewhat. The first was possibly the only thing I would actually complain about and that was the toilet flush which the chrome was breaking off which left jagged and will certainly cut your finger if you were unaware or maybe a child. The rest are just observations which wouldn’t affect your stay but maybe not what you would expect from a company of this stature. The chairs were both damaged, the desk chair because it was not ment to fit under the desk and rubs each time. The shower extractor is very rusty, as is the bottle opener, there is condensation damage to the bathroom mirror and mould on the shower wall holder. Would this stop me coming again? No, not at all as it fits my needs exactly.. I will mention the toilet flush though”

“Harmony Montessori is a wonderful nursery with such friendly, experienced staff who truly care. They look after each child as if they were their own. As the nursery has a unique location in a park, the children spend a lot of time outdoors which is good for their development. All the kids love coming here, they do a wide range of educational activities here to keep them entertained. The nursery also provides healthy nutritious food. I highly recommend this nursery!”
