“While working in the Chertsey area, I discovered Ohanas Café Bistro and stopped in for a quick breakfast — a decision well worth making. The café offers a welcoming atmosphere with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Service was prompt and efficient, making it an ideal choice for those short on time. I ordered the Eggs Royal and a cappuccino. Both were well-prepared: the eggs perfectly poached, the hollandaise smooth and balanced, and the coffee rich and satisfying. Ohanas Café Bistro is a great find — highly recommended for its quality, service, and atmosphere.”

I would love the owner to tell me! 166 is the international dialling code for Cocos (Keeling) Islands, a territory of Australia which I really want to go to - maybe it’s a link to Cocos??? “Early for our Evening Fish and Chips at Toffs we decided to take a browse in this wonderful Off Licence and what a pleasant experience it was . A wonderful selection of Wines and Spirits along with knowledgeable and helpful staff I thoroughly enjoyed the experience . After purchasing a bottle of Wine , I was offered a Scotch . a malt from the island of Harris which I wasn't overly enthused by . The next Glass was a wonderful malt called Tamdhu and a bottle of this was promptly purchased . I thoroughly recommend Amathus and I am looking forward to my next visit .”

“Fab range of beers, including local ones, as well as lovely wine selection. The staff are super helpful if you're looking for something specific or for introducing you to new beers to try. I've got a friend that's gluten free and they stock GF beers as well which is great”

“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“A beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant in the heart of Harrow shopping centre. Easy ti get to by public transport and plenty of car park available. Service is good, food is yummy and staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are decent but more pricey than other Turkish restaurants. Plenty of seating space and a nice place to celebrate a special day or event.”

“Delicious food with a huge variety at a reasonable price. We managed to secure a table for a Saturday evening. The restaurant is spacious and its acoustic features are commendable. It wasn't disturbingly noisy even though it was full. Every single dish was served within 20 minutes and the quality was superb. We will be sure to return here in the future.”

“We went for the 3rd time for the lunch time serving. £80 per person but well worth every pound. The food was delicious, fresh and didn't disappoint. The waiters were polite. My only drawback is the manager. She's very abrupt as she gave a rude gesture when we declined wine and asked for bottle water. The way she speaks to customers and the waiters is impolite and unprofessional. She needs to retire as she's been there for too long or she needs to improve her customer facing skills as she would be the one reason why I wouldn't go back.”

The rice were fragrant and the flavours enhanced when we asked for some butter to go with them. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Fair pricing about £25pp”

“The food was incredible. I got the a la carte menu. The flavours were immaculate and only one thing topped it… THE SERVICE! I have never felt so looked after in any restaurant. Foyj, Lynch, Lewis and Luke had my friend and I in stitches and were an absolute pleasure. I wish I could tip because this experience was worth a lot more than what we paid!!”

“We had the seven course menu and every course was excellent. The service was fantastic with special mention to the Albanian waiter we had, he was so professioanl in his approach and was an excellent asset to the team. There was one other waiter, who delivered our tea service, who was on “robot mode” held no eye contact and the service felt robotic/rehearsed/emotionless he rushed too much which was shame. The atmosphere is clearly very formal but it was welcoming and we were treated excellently. My only complaint was the table of two 50plus year olds who decided that they would each each other faces for around an hour, the conversation was vulgar from them as was the “slobbering” noise while they tried to investigate each other tonsils. The staff should have intervened as they were taking it too far and it really wasnt pleasant to have to listen to/observe. Aside from this pair of guests, the who experience was fabulous, amzing food and mostly top class service. Highly recommend.”

“Visited in September 2023. 4.5/5. First time visit to GBR, for an evening meal on a Friday evening, for an after work catch up with family in late September. The restaurant was high on my list to visit and I was very pleasantly impressed. The food was incredible. The freshest produce used to make a delicious meal. We had Pork Tenderloin and Spring Lamb for mains, with this delightful Mushroom Soufflé. All cooked to perfection. The all day menu has plenty of choices for all tastebuds. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, with fresh white linen. The service was great and almost personal. The atmosphere was a bit drab considering it was a Friday night in Mayfair, it wasn’t that busy (which is probably blessing in disguise). A worthwhile experience, for all occasions.”
