Fine dining experience in Chertsey

“We popped in today for lunch and were instantly impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they brought over a bowl of water my dog without even being asked. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and Chips plus a cheeky Pornstar Martini. The food and drink were lovely! Will definitely be returning!”

“Very nice hotel in a splendid location at a lovely part of the River Thames. very clean room with helpful and friendly staff throughout. Large queen size bed in standard room which is still bigger than most equivalent hotel rooms. All facilities are good and function well. restaurant serves throughout the whole day. Excellent stay with location just over half a mile ito the small town of Chertsey with many quaint shops and foodie places.”

“Myself and two friends decided to try Bengal Dynasty as is was close to the Travel Lodge we were staying at. Being a Sunday evening it was quiet and we were seated straight away. Menu had some great choices. Two of us opted for the Tandoori mixed grill. Absolutely superb - I really recommend. My friend ordered Chicken Tikka Balti, he really enjoyed it, although he said it was a bit spicy. We were even given free shot of Baileys and a whiskey. Very polite waiter and front of house staff, food was quickly served. I would definitely return if ever I was to visit the area again.”

“I’ve been coming to Mori Sushi now for the best part of 2 years. Each time the food is so consistently delicious and of excellent quality. For example the Gyu Teriyaki Don is our go to, it’s fresh, tasty and highly nutritious we explored the menu and everything is just top notch. I also order the sides such as Takoyaki, this is probably the most amazing side I have ever had. It’s so clean, fresh, tasty and sits on our stomachs with satisfaction every time. The service and experience is another thing, we are always well treated, looked after and made to feel part of the mori sushi regulars. It’s our go to and we love it.”

“Visited last Monday during a week-long stag celebration and wow what a hidden gem! The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. “We tried this Lebanese restaurant in Guildford, must say the atmosphere the service & the food is all very good. We tried many dishes, Shrimps, Chicken livers, squid rings, Lebanese spicy sausages, the mixed platter all very cooked very well & was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.”

“We got married at Foxhills on 18.10.25 and honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. I was initially worried when our original wedding co-ordinator left with 6 months to go, but I needn't have been. The new wedding co-ordinator, Cheyenne, went above and beyond for us. She replied to emails quickly, took her time explaining everything and nothing was too much trouble. The actual day was faultless. The staff, in particular Georgia (the operations manager) were so friendly, efficient and militant in their organisation of everything, we just knew we were in safe hands. From the run up the day before, to the concierges helping us with taking decorations in the golf buggies, they couldn't have been kinder or friendlier. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was from the Orangery where we had our ceremony, to the Clubhouse where we held our reception. Special thanks to Nigel our amazing toastmaster who made the day so much better. Any little hitch (none of which was their fault, but ours!) was dealt with seamlessly. The next morning, we made the most of the facilities with the other guests; swimming, children's soft play and the delicious cooked breakfasts. We will definitely be back for our first anniversary and hopefully for years to come. Thank you Foxhills!”

“@Bain Capital @Allan Leighton @Lawrence Harvey please look at this review about the Chertsey branch and the staff: From stepping into the Chertsey Pizza Express for my daughters 5th birthday on Tuesday, we we welcomed with big smiles from the very friendly staff. My family and I were amazed with a wonderful waiter (Jordie) he truly made the whole experience amazing, not only was he very patient with our change in orders , he was friendly , smiley and understood the situation with us having 4 young kids and made it extremely easy by being his great self. Usually a night out at a restaurant can be a bit of a chore, however, due to the wonderful staff at this branch/restaurant, my wife and i were actually able to relax and enjoy our very well presented meal. To top it all off, the Chocolate Sundae which my daughter still talks about really made her night. I want to say a special thanks to Jordie and the staff at Chertsey Pizza Express. Thank you all for the wonderful night , Jordie you are a true asset to the company, I hope your manager will flag this to the chairman and recognise how skilled you truly are . I totally recommend The Bandit Pizza - amazing light, fluffy, tasty pizza dough (as per the garlic bread) with oozing caramel onion, jalepeneo, pork and beef topping - fantastic! Staff were the best bar staff I have ever met! Live music too and the outside area is perfect! Brilliant pub and restaurant! Treats fot the dog. We'll be back soon. Service was warm and highly attentive, though at times it felt a little chaotic, perhaps due to the lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and eager to help. The restaurant was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A great spot for a casual meal with flavour and good service. Would definitely return.”
