“Great hotel for stop over if traveling to ferries Eurostar. Always good for great staff and although yes it is old building so I don’t expect top notch rooms but they are kept spotless. Lots of free parking but remember to register when you arrive. They don’t do food or drink here but there is a bar next door that does and Nell’s cafe up road for amazing American themed breakfast”

“There Southern Fried chicken wings and chicken streaks are tasty, easy to cook in the air fryer with handy air fry instructions and parking easy with refund for parking fee of £1.”

“Really great experience so far, was displaced from our accommodation due to works and Kate was super helpful and understanding. Genuinely made us feel at ease having to shift our whole accommodation so late in the evening! Great rooms and great hygiene!”

“Pretty damn nice if I do say so myself. Not many reviews for here and the current top review sounds like nutcase millenial who i'm pretty sure has some sort of addiction. Staff is friendly, location is near my residence so it's near effortless to get to on foot, and they have foreign language products so it's very nice for tourists hailing from different parts of the world (especially eastern europe, lots of things are in romanian and other slavic languages), but you can still tell what's what, because packaging is distinct. 5 stars!”

“We hired Grant and his wood fired oven/van for a private party at our house. He parked on our front drive and served pizzas 6 at a time, for about 3 hours. His pizzas were amazing everyone absolutely loved them. He and his staff were so friendly and accommodating I can’t recommend them highly enough. I would definitely use again for another party or just a takeaway on a Thursday or Friday night.”

The food was absolutely superb — wonderfully cooked, full of flavor, and served in generous portions. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and easily one of the best Italians I’ve been to in a long time. “My favourite country park in Kent! Easy to get to, plenty of parking, lovely cafe and walks with beautiful views. I grew up in the village and loved it then almost 50yrs ago and still do! Added bonus they just resurfaced the main walks so not muddy - for a while!”

“Another great meal at Bartellas. Love this place! We ordered some olives which were delicious and a generous portion and a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet which was excellent. I had a lunch of chicken saltimbocca with mushroom sauce and garlic potatoes, my friend had an amazing burger and we shared a side of spinach. We had tea and coffee afterwards. The staff are excellent as was the service and friendliness of our fabulous waitress, Vendi. Well done team!”
