“I'm (being Indian) usually not a big fan of eating Indian food at restaurants in the UK, but yesterday, we were starving in the late afternoon and decided to try a new place. We went to Yaadein Authentic Indian Restaurant in Stoneleigh, Epsom , and I was impressed! The lamb chops (not in the picture) and Shish kebab were so soft—better than what I’ve had at most restaurants. I also ordered a thali, and it was just as delicious. Highly recommend checking it out !”

“My favourite place around. Comfort food at its finest, fresh and made with love by Kiosk Kieth! The charitable work the Tea Hut does makes the cause almost as appealing as the food itself. Prices are brilliant, cash only being a minor inconvenience but aided by the Cash machine at Tattenham Corner Co-op shop. Greasy butties, sandwiches, chips, burgers, pastries and confectionaries offer the ideal menu for a shack on the downs. Car park behind if you're coming just for the food too. Keith is lovely and easy to talk to, and regularly end up chatting to other customers as we patiently wait for scrumptious sandwiches. Can sometimes wait a little while for food during peak times but the quality, coupled with the price, makes it totally worth the wait. Will never stop coming”

“Do not be put off by the look of this place, an amazing selection of groceries and fresh meat and chicken available too. There is parking on the road for 20mins which is enough time to get in and out. Organic produce available and exotic fruits too. An excellent alternative to the supermarket”

“I was in screen 8 today, when part way through the movie 2 people came in, disturbing the whole screen, and because it was a horror film, it ruined the entire atmosphere. Luckily, one of the employees, managed to come in and removed them, which helped me enjoy my movie again. Credit to the guy, he did it in a such great way despite the situation.”

“On the contrary to some of the other reviews.. Where do I start? I have so many good points to make about this place. I used to go for lunch here with my baby daughter (materinity leave) in 2015 and back then I was so impressed by the freshness, the portions, the cleanliness and Jay (the owner, down to earth and warming service skills). It's always very quiet and clean so this automatically gives you a nice ambience. Fast forward to now, whilst most establishments have gone downhill after covid, Makiyaki went up several levels. They updated the decor (gorgeous), their crockery is very up market and their sauces that are drizzled over the sushi is fantastic. Jay the owner is extremely humble and polite and is a great chef and puts his all into everything his does. Alongside him, his wife also runs the restaurant. She is very efficient and conscientious about every detail. It's nice to see a restaurant go from strength to strength and their dishes are worth every penny. Recommendations are: scallop Volcano, scallop crunch, Gyoza (very fresh), England, Spider and kingston roll. I have lots of other favorites but the new addition is their pancake desert. Wow.. Thank you for always delivering an excellent experience and of course we shall be back.”

“Rooms were simply furnished and offered all that we needed for an overnight stay. Additional pillows were provided upon request. Helpful polite and efficient service from all staff that we met. The location a few hundred metres from the town centre was Ideal and parking was free!”

This food journey has been so yummy & the amount of planning and preparation before the food is even cooked has been eye opening. It has taken my love of curry to another level & with Simi's Mum on hand via FaceTime Video calls to just check on Simi, every dish is now simply outstanding. Don’t take my word for it, try it! “What a wonderful place to find on our last night in London! To our delight, Gazelle is an amazing person with a delightful personality! She was so fun to talk to about her travels and sharing with her our travels. Then there’s the pizza!!!! Oh my, their pizza is so wonderfully tasty. We were two couples and we each ordered a 14” pizza ordered exactly as we wanted. What.a.delight!! Matched with Heinekin, Corona & Pinot Grigio…it was a match we will remember for a very long time! “A cold and slightly rainy Sunday morning deserves a coffee and walnut cake, with a cappuccino, right? Both were lovely, and one of the young ladies from the staff there asking how the coffee and cake were is a nice welcoming gesture. There’s a play area at the back of the shop (which I didn’t photo as there are children playing there) and the overall ambience was pleasant.”

“This place was a great find for two vegans and a vegetarians. We enjoyed quality coffee and sourdough avocado toast with pomegranate seeds. The olive oil used was exceptional. Adding another vegan option would ensure a return visit, but great staff made it the best option in that area for us”

We regularly visit Raul’s in the evening and again, wonderful friendly staff and the option to drink your wine/ beer/ spirits inside with the addition of a charcuterie board last night which was great!”

Prices are reasonable - value for money is excellent! Recommended for take out ONLY because place is too small. Owner runs the place alone, hard working and knows his Middle Eastern cuisine well. You are great and we are very happy to have your place so close to where we live!”
