“I completed the beginner and advanced classes over the summer and absolutely loved them! Colette and Robin were great at explaining each step of learning and we left feeling inspired watching them dance after their demonstrations! The class was a great size and everyone was very friendly and kind to us. Despite not knowing how to dance, by the end of the course I was shocked at how much I had learnt! They also helped introduce us to places we could keep practicing and dancing in London. It was a lovely part of the week to look forward to and I would absolutely recommend!!”

“Take a class!! I highly recommend learning pole with Lia! I didn’t have a great deal of upper body strength despite always being fit but that all changed when I started pole classes at Pole Academy LDN. Fast forward a few years and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been and just love pole. I’m 50 and proud of what I’ve achieved so far, moving through from beginners to high intermediate/advanced. “I’ve been meaning to visit this studio for a while, but after a bad experience at another one near where I live, I held off. I usually take private lessons because the community in my area isn’t very welcoming or diverse (I don’t live in London). One day after work, I realised this studio is only about 15 minutes from my office in London so I decided to stop by for open pole. I’m so glad I did! I met Akila, who was absolutely the sweetest, and all the girls I met that night were so kind and amazing and inspiring and confident. The whole vibe was so positive and welcoming. The studio is pretty af and so is everyone in it! I’ll definitely try to come back for classes but if not, I’ll be here for open pole for sure!”

“I've wanted to go to a salsa class for ages and I'm so glad I chose the first time to be with Salsa Divina. Divina is an amazing teacher, she puts you at ease straight away and her passion for Cuban salsa is so infectious. Anier is also a fantastic teacher and although the workshop was 4 hours long, it flew by because we were having so much fun. I would highly recommend Salsa Divina for anyone thinking about doing a salsa class.”

“Filippo at Tango for You is an inspirational tango teacher who works specifically with your individual needs and builds on them so you can become proficient in tango dancing. He is methodical and persistent with the basic foundation steps so that you gain confidence in your dancing. He is very motivational and always provides constant feedback that helps you build on your skills. Above all his positivity and constant praise on your progress is what brings everything together and makes your lesson each time the most enjoyable dancing experience ever. “We're really enjoying our introductory ballroom dance classes with Mohammed. The classes are a really fun way to spend a Monday evening. Mohammed is a great teacher - he takes you through all the steps slowly and clearly, and builds up the moves until you get confident putting them together dancing around the room! Strongly recommend.”

“The approach is fantastic as it aligns with the principles of many other art forms that I've experienced (piano, martial art, etc), that is, the teaching of mindfulness to achieve mind-body engagement while maintaining relaxation and effortlessness. I appreciate that the instructors don't rush into sequences and steps, but rather put emphasis on the fundamental connection within oneself and their partner. As a result, if you're want 'instant noodle' approach, this might not be for you, but if you want to dance without choreography and make tango a part of you, this school is a good place to start.”

“I discovered this great place where I had snow amazing dance experience. I learnt Bachata & Salsa. Not far from East Putney Station. Pleasant atmosphere, good music and great energy among everyone. This is a monthly party which attracts many dancers. Definitely recommend it for the energy and to dance Bachata & Salsa.”

“Good venue and nice people There is a beginner class from 7:30pm and then 8:30pm the intermediate class begins. Social dance opportunity till 10:30pm every Monday except bank holidays. Newbies are welcomed here. Tim is the regular teacher, who is very good and really friendly guy.”

“My daughter is in her second year of ballet classes at the school Tiptoes & Tappers. She saw her favourite character from the film dancing and decided that she wanted to do ballet too. During this time she has become more confident on stage. She is never shy about dancing at children's birthday parties. It's fun. What she likes most is the attentive teachers and the staff. She socialises with many of the girls outside of class. As a mum I love that my daughter continues to rush to class every Saturday despite it being a weekend and morning. That her curiosity is not killed in her by the rigid demands that are inherent in ballet. But in doing so, she feels her body and dances better and better. I highly recommend the school if you want your child to develop harmoniously in dance, while she/he will have the experience of the big stage, which is so important for an artist and the support of professionals and friendly team.”

The teachers are supportive, patient and really cares for those that want to build their dance techniques and skills. Not only that, they also make it a safe space for the community to go and shake a stressful day away and escape from reality for an hour or two.
