“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! “I started my kitchen journey with Jacqueline and Karl at Casalife in June 2021 when I was doing a complete back to brick renovation of my bungalow. I had a series of delays with my build project during which, Jacqueline and Karl from Casalife showed remarkable patience, professionalism and a detailed. Knowledge of the practicalities of a good kitchen layout. My kitchen design went through many changes over that coming year until its final installation in October 2022. The advice and revisions Casalife worked with me on were invaluable. I was concerned about my tight budget and whether I could afford a good quality kitchen with Casalife - but they worked with me in deciding appliances, sink and tap, cabinets and doors with detailed 3D designs. I chose a 2 tone effect using AREDDO3 Kali with a mix of oak and Fenix finishes and some clever carousel storage solutions for my corner cabinets. During installation, Casalife quickly resolved the few technical hitches encountered. Their preferred kitchen fitter, Michael was great. Now in 2024, I added some shelving options with Casalife’s help. And my kitchen feels complete. I am very happy with my decision to go with Jacqueline and Karl and I would strongly recommend Casalife.”

Jamie and Rosa worked with us and guided us through the design process, taking on board our requirements and feedback, resulting in a design which was unlike anything that other kitchen design companies had achieved. They approached the space with a really fresh idea which we loved. They were so attentive and helpful, answering our questions and making recommendations, right through the design, ordering and fitting stages of the process, as well as after the kitchen was installed. We now have a kitchen that is way better than we expected or imagined.”

“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”

On one occasion the item I wanted was not available but the staff member was still able to offer good advice. Good range of products too. “Lovely hotel which was perfectly situated! 15 min drive from st Albans which was lovely to explore with a stunning cathedral. And 15 min drive the other way to Harry potter world!! So perfect for us, friendly staff with full use of pool, sauna and steam room so that was a huge plus. Rooms were simple but had everything required. Food was lovely at the hotel and something that made me super happy was when asked for a take out box, They had these biodegradable boxes (instead of the standard plastic tubs) and paper straws! ✌ so big shout out for that.”
