“We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”

“*** Visited again today, after nearly a two-years absence, and the fish was delicious and a positively huge portion for the large. The staff still very friendly and helpful. *** Simple and practical chippy but clean and with a couple of tables to eat in. The staff is lovely and friendly. The fish always very nice. “An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. “I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”

“Extremely well-located Lebanese restaurant - at the heart of Twickenham’s high street area. I mostly opt for takeaways. The restaurant is small but cosy. The food is delicious with a large vegetarian selection. Busy at all hours but the staff is mostly friendly! I liked the dishes, the crockery and the place has a buzz during the day, especially on weekends. On a recent dine-in we tried the yoghurt & cucumber starter dish, a couple of vegetarian wraps and a Meze platter for one - which was especially good value for even two people, if accompanied with a selection of 3 or so savouries! Tasty food and at good value. The staff are friendly and cordial, but the service isn’t exemplary - if only because the place is really busy at most times and staff are busier with the preparation. Even so, it’s the kind of local diner you’d find yourself visiting fairly frequently. I recommend it !”
