“Food was delicious. Me and my siblings went on Saturday evening to break our fast there and the staff were amazing. They gave us dates/ fresh orange juice and spring rolls! On top of that the food was delicious! Steaks were tender and juicy! Definitely enjoyed the food but also the atmosphere was really good! Definitely recommend you go here! The moment you walk in, you get hit with that fresh-grill aroma that tells you the food is actually being cooked, not just microwaved. I tried the steak plate this time, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. The rice and veggies were seasoned perfectly — not bland like most places. What stood out the most was the service. The staff treated me like a regular even though it was only my second visit. They’re attentive without hovering, and they seem to genuinely care that customers enjoy their meals. Prices are reasonable, portions are satisfying, and the quality is consistently good. I wish more places had this level of customer care and attention to detail. If you’re thinking about trying Tropics Grill — do it. You won’t regret it.”

The Falcon is still a great place to drink, and, sitting on the Green outside, with a glass of wine on a sunny day was just about perfect.”

“I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. It’s restaurants like this that we need to remain on our high streets. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back soon.”

“We booked a table for Christmas dinner with friends last Thursday. There was a lot of big bookings in and there was an initial mix-up with ours getting lost but the owner and staff were very accommodating and also gave us a free bottle of wine by way of apology. My husband and I have eaten here on several other occasions in other seasons and the food is very good quality, definitely gastropub level. Tonight's festive menu was no exception and the place looked fantastic and was decorated beautifully. My duck was melt-off-bone and yet the surprise star on my main dish was the cream cabbage and bacon - so moreish. With a table of 28 and another of 10 or 12, it did get quite rowdy but even being so busy the owner took time to male sure we were enjoying our meal. Big shout out to Giuseppe (I think?) who will also be getting married in Sardinia in June as we did and was equally attentive to us whilst still waiting on the big tables. Would definitely visit again.”
