“I love this shop! As a non Pole I was initially a little intimidated by not knowing the products but I really shouldn’t have worried all my questions have been patiently answered and I have discovered some fabulous food. The back bit is a deli and you can pick up various home cooked food trad polish style. Recommend Sunday Chicken Noodle Soup, the pork burgers and the meatballs. Cakes are a (too) regular treat that last a good few days in the fridge. Actually one of my favourite shops. And my bunnies cannot get enough of their fresh dill!!”

They have lots of varieties of gluten free products, different protein intake products, fresh vegetables, they have best selection of kombucha at affordable prices. “I have been a customer for over 17 years and have always had good experiences with the service and quality of the products, especially the meat. Medina has a large selection of pantry products, sauces, spices, fresh produce, drinks, and snacks to suit different tastes. Their meat and chicken are always fresh, reasonably priced, and displayed. The butchers are accommodating when asked for a special cut. I no longer live locally, but I travel to do my monthly big shop of Asian products and halal meat. No other butchers have equalled quality and service.”

“Mauro the maître d’ was phenomenal service, class act true gentleman from Sardinia Italy. Yes the cigars are way over priced but if you truly want to experience a brand new classic style of cigar Bar, that’s is styled from the classic era of the 1920’s go there and except the challenge. They have the classic cigars. You must buy one to sit in this place. I would go back even though it was a bit out of my price range. Buy hey you were at “The Ritz” Smoking a cigar. The real cigar room is down stairs and requires a membership I believe where Churchill himself dwelled. Wouldn’t that be great to visit in the late 1930’s ? Thank you Mauro for a wonderful time.”

“Greensmith, Waterloo, My favourite café in South London! The coffee here is consistently excellent ,always smooth, rich, and perfectly made. The atmosphere is fantastic; coming here is truly a treat. I live in Brixton, but I always make sure to have my daily coffee at Greensmith. The food is absolutely outstanding, from the focaccias to all the baked goods, everything is fresh, delicious, and made with such care. But my biggest shout-out goes to Raquel, the wonderful manager. She’s Spanish, speaks Italian, Spanish and English beautifully, and she’s just a joy to talk to. Every time we chat, I feel like I’m with family, we’re Italian, and we absolutely love the warm, welcoming vibe she creates here. The place is spotless, well-organised, with stunning fruit and vegetables and an amazing bakery section. Keep up the great work — Greensmith is without a doubt my favourite café in South London!”

“What can I say about the east London liquor company that's not been said before, well it has to be said that it's a fantastic welcoming delicious tasty informative and thoroughly enjoyable place to visit. My wife bought me a gin tour for my birthday and we had a fantastic time due to the brilliant staff. If you don't like gin then they do tours for whiskey, rum and vodka. We will definitely be returning in the near future, I have my eye on a few bottles in their shop. All in all a must visit.”

“Great store, very friendly and helpful staff. The assortment is quite wide, despite the fact that the store is not very large (this is the only one little minus, I wish you to expand the area). Most of the goods in the store are not sold in traditional supermarkets. As far as I understand, these are goods from the countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria and others (or similar). There are more than 10 types of dumplings (I bought one for testing, they are excellent, I will buy now), Buckwheat porridge, which also has seven types (by the way, you can’t find it in local supermarkets, even in hypermarkets, although this is one of the best cereals), meat products, sausages products, several types of cottage cheese, cakes (medovik and others), various honey, marshmallows, dryers, excellent unfiltered beer on tap and other options for alcoholic beverages and much more. Thank you, I sincerely recommend. It is a pity that I do not live nearby, so I would come more often.”

Now let me explain- I pondered over this metropolis of tasty and useful nik naks I couldn’t believe my options I picked up a few sweet and salty treats and the fresh naan recommended by mr Express himself (which had arrived just that day). Such a cool vibe and we felt so safe and assisted in terms of bags etc. wide range of smoking paraphernalia and crisps. My only only qualm is that I have a new vice- G Express!”
