“Wonderful shop and impeccable customer service, their sourdough bread is the only one we buy. The staff are always friendly and helpful.”
“Good product selection (better than toolstation which is over the road), but he prices are slightly higher. I tend to buy things from both of them. Lots of parking, generally no long waits.”
“Always very helpful & keen to please , order things if they don't have in stock, a lot of people would be stranded without this shop. Support your small business .”
“Amazing place to go if you want wine”
“Great 5 course dinner with wine. Fantastic service again. Lovely food too.”
“I am a regular at Cafe Wood (or ex-Gok's Kitchen), visiting with my wife or friends at least twice a month, and I must say, their new menu is a delightful surprise! The dishes are not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. While they currently close at 5 pm and do not offer dinner service, I'm eagerly looking forward to the day when they extend their hours to include dinner. Despite this, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially if you're on High Street in Weybridge. You won't be disappointed!”
“What a little diamond of a cafe. Popped in with the dogs for a brunch and wasn't disappointed. A great cheery welcome, prompt service and the food came out looking tasty and was delicious. They offer fresh produce, other clothing and household goods in the shop as well. Ideal with a deli directly opposite. Will definitely be coming back for more!”
“Absolutely fantastic store and such knowledgeable employees. It's great to be able to ask questions and have such detailed answers. They didn't try to "push a sale" but genuinely wanted to find you a wine /spirit that you'd enjoy. Will definitely be back! Store is well laid out, clearly labelled and you can try and few different wines that are open. Massive thank you to Sam for all of his help.”
“Very reasonable prices with a range of products and friendly staff.”
“MY FAVOURITE WAITROSE: WORLD-CLASS STAFF (BUT A PARKING QUEST!) What I love most about this particular Weybridge branch is the staff policy. You won't find bored teenagers here who are only interested in their nails or lashes. The team is experienced, mature, and genuinely interested in their customers. Why this store is special: Expert Advice: Whether it's dietary restrictions, finding a specific ingredient, or cooking tips (especially at the Butcher and Fishmonger corners), they know their stuff. Going Above and Beyond: I’ve seen them support customers in ways that have nothing to do with groceries. They just care. A Funny Note: Even my 6-year-old is loyal to the team! If I ever get stuck on my shopping list, he immediately rushes off laughing, saying: "Let me ask them, they know everything!" A Tip for Newcomers: There are two entrances. If you want the "Quick Check" scanners, they are held at the internal entrance (from the parking), not the High Street entrance. To the Management: Huge credit to whoever designed your talent acquisition. By hiring experienced, caring people, you haven’t just run a typical chain store—you’ve built a reliable community place. (Also, please bring back that bench! I heard some nice ladies politely expressing their concern, and honestly, they really need it.) It is also awesome to see you replying to reviews here with sincere attention, not just generic copy-paste answers. A Note on Parking (The only downside): The parking might be difficult to find—it is behind the building in a covered garage. The spaces are tiny with very little room to manoeuvre. Not easy access, but we got used to it! Just be prepared to practice your driving skills squeezing between narrow passages—it requires patience. Yours when squeezing and when waiting for others to do the same! Be ready to spend some time parking.”
“Love the donuts there it's a bargain shop nice and easy”
“Great service. I always pick up/ post my evri parcels here and Christian is always very helpful and welcoming when it comes to any issues or delay in collection!”
“A spacious store over two levels. Well-stocked food section, with plenty of variety to choose from. The clothes department, spread over the two floors, had a large range of styles, too. The newly-revamped cafe (tucked away on the first floor) looked relaxing. The whole store was very impressive.”
“Just ran in last night because I needed some ricotta cheese after checking at three other supermarkets and found it. At the self serve check out the computer did not recognize the code on the item so we proceeded to the human managed check out... The code wasn't found there either... The teller called for her supervisor and she reported the problem had allready happened before... I was ready for a convoluted explanation and an excuse but nothing like that happened... The supervisor told our cashier to gift us the product.... Still pleasantly surprised... I'll be back, wonderful service!!!!”
“Cosy little local shop, staff is always helpful and has great product, even for a last minute meal. As it is a local shop, might not have the same assortment as a big shop, but overall great customer service and products. The thing I love is the fresh hot bakery in the morning, with delicious croissants, biscuits, doughnut!”
“Morning friendly staff and quick service and clean shop always”
“We had a very good experience today. We bought a t v but it was too big for us to carry. Johny was sent to help us. He completed the sale for us and carried it to our car. Excellent service.”
