“We had an appointment with Dr Dania and her assistant Diana (coordinated by Sara). Sara had also previously coordinated 3-4 visits for us just to explore/play in the clinic so my son could get used to it. He is extremely anxious in clinical settings and had not previously been able to have a proper dental check (or even walk into a treatment room). Dr Dania is clearly a pro - she was very patient and knew exactly how to run the appointment to gently encourage my son into the treatment room, and eventually the chair. He even let her check his teeth! We were shocked. So impressed with Dr Dania and the team, and beyond happy they’ve helped my son make the progress he has. Thank you!”

“I love this place and so does my 7 year old daughter. The waiting room isn’t boring with lots of entertainment for the kids while we wait. She loved that she got to watch her fave show on YouTube while waiting. The Dentists are super professional and are clearly experienced at dealing with kids. We went in as an emergency as my daughter had swollen and very painful gums. My daughter gets anxious easily and has very low pain tolerance, but the team handled her with care and empathy and made her feel comfortable in about 2mins flat! Such a high level of service. I don’t think I could go anywhere else now. It’s worth the money paid.”

“Fantastic local pet shop. Always happy to help and suggest different toys and treats for my puppy. Had a dog food supply issue with our preferred brand and they helped us out massively. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else any more!”

“I seriously love my fish and chips and this was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was completely made to order and boy was it worth the wait. The batter was so crispy but not greasy and the fish was so juicy and succulent in the middle. It was literally cooked to perfection. The chips were amazing too. Not to crispy and not to soggy. A perfect blend and you can tell they use really good potatoes. Really friendly service in lovely little area. Just a shame I don’t live closer as would be here every Friday! Highly recommend!!”

“Very happy with this place. The person arranging my bouquet was fast and friendly. First asked budget then offered me ready made bouquet in that range or to make one from scratch. Go to pick the colours and he arranged and wrapped them up beautifully. Would recommend as its good value for money!”

“The menu was expansive and if you're like us and you're not sure what to order, go for the 'Feasting Menu'. It says it's for two but we could share two sets amongst 5 of us, 3 below 15 years old. The highlight for us were the vegetarian options such as the Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito. The sweet potato was baked and the insides were creamy and sweet. Topped with feta cheese, tomatoes and a mixture of sauces (I have no idea what!) and they just go so well. The Beet Tartare Tostadas was also a splendid surprise. Buttermilk Chicken Tacos and Grilled Brindisa Chorizo Quesadilla were our faves as well. Just make sure that you make reservations on their website. We were there on a Friday evening and I heard that it was an hour wait if you walk-in.”

“Great stop for food and drink (especially in the sun). Was recommended by a friend who lived in the area. Atmosphere: We visited on bank holiday Monday for lunch and the atmosphere was energetic. Sat in the garden outside without a reservation (but book ahead if you don’t want to risk it). Lots of tables not too crammed together. Mix of sun and shady seats. Outdoor bar was open so no big queues Food: Nice sourdough (enough to share between 3 comfortably). Fritto misto was great! Fish tasted fresh and was cooked well. Calamari wasn’t chewy at all. Haddock was also really good. Good with allergies. I had a nut and soya allergy.”

“Amazing shop , professional and friendly staff. Recommend highly in case that you need to buy any type of birds or something connected with birds. Every time for me in that shop is a magical time I'm spending at least 1 hour , cosy atmosphere and many different kinds of parrots.”

Our waitress full described and helped us appreciate each ingredient of our meals, and we dined in a warm ambience. There was a slight hiccup with our fillet which was very unfortunate, however, we overlooked it through our exceptional experience.”

“Great experience. The servers were very polite, though the host at the front was a little rude. The food was amazing I ate much more then I probably should have simply because I wanted to try as much as possible. They have a wide assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. The process of ordering was a little confusing, you are meant to mark what you want on a paper menu but at one point the person taking my order didn’t use the paper but at another point they did use the paper. It was just a little confusing overall. They also recommend that you order 3 to 5 dishes. I ended up ordering 5 because I wanted to but I do wonder if there are limitations on ordering 2 or 6.”

“Both my boys, one elderly and lame the other young, naughty and always in scrapes, love Holly and Lola and know exactly when we turn the corner to their road. They could not be better looked after and always come home fitter and more relaxed after their stay. Holly is very aware of the individual needs of the animals in her care and gives each the attention it needs. I highly recommend Holly and the work that she does and Debbie at Happy Houndz for so exactly matching my needs and those of my dogs. Thank you.”

“My granddaughter started at The Garden Pre-school in January 2023. She was only 2 and I was a little apprehensive about how she would get along there. From the first day my granddaughter has loved every second being there. In fact all the children seem to be happy and excited to go in at the beginning of the day and reluctant to leave at the end of the day. I cannot praise the staff there enough, they are all very caring and loving towards the children but with a nice level of control. The children all seem so respectful of the staff and listen when they are being shown or asked to do something. The learning at the Pre-school is done in such a fun exciting way and my granddaughter has gone from maybe saying a couple of words to being able to tell me everything she has done in the day time. She also loves the Forest School and on our walk home we stop and look at the horses and she tells me what is a tree, bush or flowers. The Pre-school spends a lot of time outside which is why we originally picked it, but it has really gone above any of my expectations. Communication between the staff and parents is excellent verbally and through the management app where daily updates are posted so that you can see what the children have done during the day. I love this as I can then ask my granddaughter about different elements of her day when I collect her. I highly recommend The Garden Pre-school and couldn't be happier that my granddaughter goes there.”

“Customer for over 10 years, never disappointed. Fresh and really, really tasty. Talent of the chef evident in the hot and sour soup! Aubergine in black bean sauce is another must. Speed depends on day of the week, but usually perfectly fine/fast! Great local Chinese, please support !”
